i love this tutorial, but the trying to crochet the body is going to drive me insane. i keep forgetting how hard it is to see stitches with black yarn Edit: I have finally achieved victory. 3 entire days of getting frustrated, giving up, trying again, and getting frustrated yet again, and i finally have everything ready to be assembled. I can't wait to give this to my boyfriend!

I started with head and it's more like oval shape, I used 5mm hook and himalaya dolphin baby yarn, maybe I need to stuff him more? Making cape right now so my boyfriend won't recognize it, this will be surpirse gift for him ☺️
Hmm maybe remove a couple rounds of single crochet. Sometimes the yarn can change the outcome! Usually amigurumi is pretty transferrable with sizes of yarn but sometimes not!

The easiest way to scale up or down is using a bigger or smaller yarn and hook combo! And thank you so much for the compliments!! 🥰
