Congratulations! One of my favorite ballet dancers. And a mother of four children too. It's is possible to have family life and children and great ballet life too. She is so great as Giselle and Kitri.
So well deserved! I saw her five years ago in Sleeping Beauty, actually I bought a ticket for the performance just to see her and Xander Parish together. (Back in those days when you could just book a flight to Russia without second thoughts… how the world has changed 😢) Olesya was stunning, her rose adagio was even better than everything from her here on YT. How she manages to look and dance like a 16-year-old is just beyond amazing 🤩
Olesya Novikova is a beautiful ballerina: So young and full of energy! Her dancing is fresh and charming as if it were the singing of a young soprano who sings from her heart. Brava!!!
I always have the same reaction when I hear her name or when I see her dancing (on yt), I'd immediately remember her Don Quixote - Dulcinea Variation ❤❤❤! Novikova's an outstanding dancer indeed; I love her phrasings and the special way she moves her fastidious footwork ❤. Congratulations 🎉🎉 Olesya Novikova ❤! I relate to her as a dancer. I project my rage on to her. I was always so angry while training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in the 90's. I've gone on since then to with many choreographers and directors. Rehearsals infuriate me. I'm not saying she is going through what I have been through.....I guess I'm saying that I see her rage......her reluctance to agree with some one else's evaluation of her talent...while she is talenting.
She is exquisite. By the way, I hate the Awakening of Flora tutu. Nobody who wears it can make that thing look good. It looks like a 1950's Prom dress made in Home Ec by a student who got a C- grade.

Why not make a video about partners on and offstage like them and Alina Cojocaru (when I was in Romania 🇷🇴 I like all the other girls wanted to be just like her!) and Johan Kobborg (her husband), Irina Dvorovenko and her husband Maxim Beloserkovsky, Gillian Murphy and Ethan Stiefel… the chemistry between these couples onstage is just glorious!🇵🇹🇧🇷🇷🇴🇷🇺🇺🇦🩰🫶🏻 4:23
