Thanks for making this. I fondly remember a lot of those games. This video saved me money because memories are better than what I just watched and I no longer want to purchase one. :)
It’s a shame your not going to purchase one as you can also add more games to it, we made a video for that too. At least you’ve found this helpful and thanks for your comment
Our pleasure, hope your son enjoys it. We’ve made a couple of other videos to help update the firmware and to add more games. Give us a shout if you ever need any help we would be more than happy to assist
Almost... but they can be added if you watch our video on our to add your own games. We are happy with the line up considering this was the first time we played a lot of these titles for the c64 and if there are any that we own now we can simply add them
Agreed. Me and my brother had a full C64 setup and a whole case full of floppys. Probably 60 games. Many of them were amazing. There was only 3 on here that I even recognize.
damn i feel like this was such a poor collection! they missed out like 30 classics they could have put on there. I could be wrong! but missed a ton of games i loved.
Indeed there is a lot of games missing however, you can add more games - we’ve made a video on how to add more games. Seems like people have made ways to add multi disks
Sadly, they could only get the rights to the games that Cloanto have the copyright on. But luckily since the latest firmware update you can pretty much put anything on there...although getting multi disk games to work is pretty tricky I mean I can understand why there are no EA or Ultimate games on there. EA really isn't into licensing and Ultimate are pretty much RARE..... I wouldn't call any of the games here "poor" but there are a lot of mediocre ones. I never really did like the Thing on a Spring games. I know there are classics, and are technically well made, but they never really did anything for me..save for the music
@@scottbreon9448 yah collection was disappointing for me. I'm still trying to work out if I can get rid of the delay from joystick input to movement on screen since it makes most games unplayable for me. Might go test it on some other TVs.
I need to get that one, I used to have an COMMODORE C64 as Child. RodLand and Bulder Dash are my favorite Games on there. ;-) Which ones are your favorite?
Those are great games and yes we so recommend picking up one of these, we made a video of the top 5 games on TheC64 Mini check it out and let us know if you agree
We had an Amstrad CPC 464 so never experienced the C64. Now TheC64 Mini and full sized re-release of the C64 are available. It’s a good time to relive them
We had an Amstrad CPC 464 so was nice for us to see some different games, thankfully you can add additional games to this. We made a video on how to add games as well
It's too bad we never got the Skool Daze sequel Back To Skool on the C64. I have the NTSC version of the mini. Skool Daze wasn't a popular game here, even though they did put it on the NTSC version as well. I like the game though, but I can understand why a lot of people in the US and Canada (my country) wouldn't "get" it. It's a VERY British game.
Does anyone know how to change the mini to 50fps PAL mode? The games all run too fast and the music sounds rubbish. It's really annoying me now I can't find a fix.
There are so many great games I gather they were the only ones they could get and were available. There are ways to add more, made a video about it too
Weird how growing up with SNES and Sega Mega Drive games i cant relate to any of those games which look quite terrible. I guess those were popular among 80s kids.
+Robert Allen + ItsMuchMore Speaking of metal, Check out Aki Jarvinen. He does kickass metal remixes of C64 and Amiga tunes. Also check out The FastLoaders, as well as Vaggelis Papadopoulos, and xXdustyXx. Fastloaders even have performed with the late, great Ben Daglish... RIP Ben Daglish
Codemasters doesn't allow for the distribution of their games, and i suspect the same is true for all the other ones. They *couldn't* put better games on because they didn't have permission to do so, they did the best they could.
In English “The stake crazy I can not find it, you've got confused is the skate crzay XD” Yep that is a typing error thanks for spotting this out, sadly can’t amend this now You can find the full list of games here which includes Skate Crazy - retrogames.biz/thec64-mini/games
If it was included in the lineup of games that would have been awesome sadly it wasn’t. We have made a video showing how to add your games to The C64 Mini go check it out 👍 you could get to play bubble bobble
We were happy with the list of games as it meant we got to try games we’ve never played or heard of. Please check our other video on how to add your own owned games

I want to pick myself up one of these too, but I lived the sound track in this video, Cheers.

Almost all the best and the classics are missing.

The best two games were Giana sisters and Wonderboy. Theyre not on it which sucks
You can add them and any other game you wanted, did a video about it ruclips.net/video/DZjZGym2J1E/видео.html

Nothing says C64 more than Sega Rally music
Nothing suits a montage video then sega rally or sega touring cars music
Good overview!
Thank you 👍 thanks for taking the time out to comment
Wish they had included Flimbos Quest, Pang, Shadow of the beast, and Robocop. Games that I played ..
Indeed those are great games, we’ve uploaded a video on how to add more games to TheC64 Mini

No spy vs spy
Choplifter, below the root, Donkey Kong, Beach head II, blue thunder?
They can all be added, ruclips.net/video/DZjZGym2J1E/видео.html
The arc of Yesod does remind me of the game called astroneer
Cool, hope you enjoyed the video

Mikie was actually in the arcades over here. never actually played the C64 port, but I put many a quarter in the arcade machine
We had the Amstrad CPC 464 port, it was great fun
Does anyone know how to change the mini to 50fps PAL mode?
The games all run too fast and the music sounds rubbish. It's really annoying me now I can't find a fix.
Hey RetroRic, sadly we don't know but if we ever find out we will add it to the video description
Replacing native sound with music was a pretty dumb idea. Thumb up though.
Oh sorry you don’t like it - we tend to do our videos like that
i had hundreds of c64 games and only one of them listed here..
There are so many great games I gather they were the only ones they could get and were available. There are ways to add more, made a video about it too
I grew up with the Commodore 64. And on this list I think I recognized about 10 games. If u can’t put roms on this thing, I think I’ll pass.
You can - watch our other video on how to add / update more games
Weird how growing up with SNES and Sega Mega Drive games i cant relate to any of those games which look quite terrible. I guess those were popular among 80s kids.
I grew up with a Amstrad , Master System then the Mega Drive and Snes. So yeah the 16bit graphic of the 90s was decent
Now if only someone would do the same kind of video for the NTSC version
We were looking at purchasing the NTSC version to do a similar video
No ... Barbarian/Elite/Head Over Heels/IK+/Daley Thompson Decathlon/Wizball :(
They can be added if you check out our other video on how to update games to your C64Mini
Who has acomplished Spindizzy?
Haven't a clue, it's very difficult
Loved it until the nes came out then the love was over 😂
Never owned a NES but always hear great things and peoples memories about it. Thanks for stopping by
Is the metal really necessary?
It isn’t but if it’s not your cup of tea, you can turn off the sound of the video or have music to your own taste playing along side it instead
Metal is always necessary \m/
You may like our new PlayStation Classic video then if you like this kind of music
