Awesome video Adam! The "do your research and be saved from panic" tip is one I'm pushing constantly and for good reasons. It also saves people from affiliating other health problems with minoxidil: "Help! Adam, I can't diddle my wife due to my soft Johnson, should I stop minoxidil?" "Brother, it's likely minox ain't your problem" 😂
That before and after pic is INSANE! Really motivating. Just started my journey today with Kirklands 5% foam. Going to binge watch all your videos haha, thanks for all the info!

Just ended my 1.5 year journey today. You've been my inspiration from the start and I want to personally thank you! I started with a beard and have scene improvements which have slowed way down after month 14. I have to say I'm pretty happy with the results but I'm alittle nervous about the so called shedding phase after ending I've heard about. I've shaved it short for now incase it thins out Congrats on your beard, looking fabulous!
I really appreciate this video. I'm turning 22 and I've been thinking of starting my minoxidal journey to help fill out those empty spaces between the side burns and beard. As well as to make my beard more thick.
The Beard Solution impressive! Dunno how you stayed consistent with twice a day tbh, did you ever skip days of applying twice a day and instead doing it once maybe or some days never during the time other than the month or nah?
So when I started i did 1x a day for the first 11 weeks or so. Then 2x a day there on out apart from the month break and the last few months where I only applied it like 5 times total over a 2 month period (that was right at the end) I never really missed applications very often tbh
Great Bread , and I have bread now but I want to grow more for my face to connect it together, so How long should I use it? Let’s say after six months and I feel it’s good enough, when I stop it and will it stop growing? Thanks.
I used minoxidil for 4 months and I saw some results but it's been over 2years u since I stopped using it. I have started to use it again from a month however I am not noticing any results any suggestions??
Quick question: Did you experience progress/gains in spurts ? I ask because my neck hairs after 2.5 months came out a lot, then after I only see bits coming out with a good amount of vellum hairs (blonde). I’m hoping in two months I’d have another big gain, but who knows. I’m only 4 months in and believe I’m a slow gainer. Any answer would be much appreciated. Thanks for all the info Adam !
I have a question regarding vellus hairs and transitional hairs. Let’s say I use minoxidil for 3 months and got a bunch of vellus or transitional hairs that are starting to show on my face. Are they going to fall out and never come back ever again if I stop using minoxidil? Or are they going to return to the original form that they were in before the use of minoxidil. And if they had returned to their original form will I still have the chance of getting terminal hairs in their place? Thank you!
They will likely fall. Not always but usually. They are likely to revert back to a vellus type hair. However they could still transition to terminal naturally im the future generallt speaking
I'm Irish and Native American, but I look more white than anything. my beard grows very patchy... I've been told that my native genes pretty much have screwed me on facial hair growth....But I'm more looking to fix the issue that i only have one side burn lol, filling in facial hair would be an added benefit, but not really a needed one. Is there any reason, in your opinion, that you'd tell me not to buy this? Any serious negative side effect that you've experienced?
Quick question...is foam as good as liquid? Right now I'm using foam but I would like to hear your opinion about it. Should I switch to liquid or stay with foam? Thank you so much in advance!
Hey - according to a comparative analysis that was done they found that across many studies Foam and Liquid achieved the same results ( no statistically significant difference) but noted that liquid tends to be absorbed more aggressively (which is why liquid users tend to experience a higher amount of side effects from my observation). Really its up to you but theres no real reason to switch - other than liquids cheaper. theres no harm in switching but no need either imho
@@thebeardsolution thank you so much Adam for replying so soon, and thank you for all the info you are giving us, keep up the good work, I hope I can achieve results as good as yours, this is only my 2nd month, so...I still have a long way bro! Cheers!
Starting my second year on minox. Not that happy with the results. Anything I can add? Using this atm: 5% Minoxidil liquid (1 ml once a day) LCLT (mixed into minox, 2%) Peppermint oil (in my beard oil, 5%) Dermarolling 1mm (every other week at least) Maybe I should start applying twice a day and dermarolling more often?
People usually take about 1.5 to 2 years to see some great results or sometimes even results in general. You also have to apply twice a day, not once. This is imperative and probably why you have not seen great results. The reason why you need to apply twice a day is simply because it sustains the effects affects throughout the day when you spread the times you apply it.
I think its worth a shot. See how it goes but i found it was really hard to tell if it made a huge difference which might of been because the improvement was more gradual or just becuase I was using minox (regardless of concentration) but others have claimed it improved theirs drastically
