The guys at Coldwarmotors would love this place. I wonder if its fairly close to them. Also Dan from DD SPEED SHOP would love these old rigs especially tri five chevys.
Na America tem muinta historia automobilística mas enterram seu passado no meio do mato ao tempo ao vento a corrosão de seus limdos carros...eu nao vejo nenhum outro pais com uma história limda de seus carros como aqui..
Hey Scott, Thanks for the comment. Yes I am sure it may be able to be welded. It looked like a pretty bad crack in person I will be honest. Either way hope someone can save it.
@ Great video, can’t wait for the next one. I’m coming out to Calgary Thursday to pluck a 1964 Dodge Polara 2 dr sedan out of a Junkyard just North of Edmonton. Wish i had time to get down that way too. You should go see Lorne at Muscle Cars and More and do a video of his 1200 car hoarde. He ran into an unfortunate situation and is liquidating some cool stuff to cover some expenses. Super nice guy…
@ Thanks very much for the nice comment Scott. I’m currently working on the 2nd part. Good luck grabbing the Polara and I hope the weather cooperates. If you wouldn’t mind sending me an Email and I will get in touch with you. I am sorry to hear about Lorne but would love to video his stuff. Westerncanadaclassics@gmail.com Thanks Scott! Josh
Locally scenes such as these, have given way to mega warehouses, high density residential development, SHEETZ/WAWA stores. As the land is just too valuable to remain "undeveloped and under utilized."
Yes, these places disappear due to development or owner’s getting old and dying off etc. I like to get them on video it is such a huge yard and history recorded.
Interested in the Mercury 100 at 15:42 Are you able to get me a price and some contact information? I’m in central Alberta so probably a few hour drive away.

They must have a dry climate there. The bodys look remarkably rust free.
Extremely dry. Much different from up north.
Wow, really love that Green fuselage Chrysler 300!
Ya, that 300 was a totally fixable car.
Many solid project vehicles there!
That there is!
We used to go out there as kids, back then there was some serious Mopar in that yard.
That’s cool to hear. I bet it was way better back in the day. The way stuff is scattered I imagine lot’s has been pulled out of there over the years.
Wow, that is an amazing collection of vintage iron. I want 4 or 5 and they are all for sale
Haha. Are you sure you don’t want more😁
That fastback is sweet!
It was in decent shape for sure. A guy should look over it pretty good but presented well from the camera

Probably a 354 Hemi in that truck…block can be saved with the welding technology available now.

Is there perhaps a website that lists the inventory of this place? Im looking specifically for 1960 Cadillacs.
There is not. I can get you the owners info though if you email me.
11:30 That little pickup has a lot of potential! (is that $10,000 you zoomed into on the passenger window?)
Yes it does…. I did see that and 10K was on the window. Not sure what he wants.
Could I please have the info! Been looking for a dodge/fargo sweptline to fix up!

How far from Edmonton is this place?
A few hours for sure.
If i purchased a car from there for $1000 how do i get to usa and how much would it be? Thanks
That is a good question. I have never imported anything across the border and wouldn’t have an idea. Other’s may be able to help.
Talk to U.S. customs. They will tell you all you need to know about importing vehicles.
Are they selling parts or just complete projects?
I am unsure. If you Email me I can put you in touch with the owner. I think he would sell parts
@@WestCanClassicsI want to email you about this…but I can’t see your email listed anywhere

Is Gary Ladine still alive
Alive and well👍🏻
Yes
Only one Packard so far and it wasn't really a Packard. More like a Studebaker.
They were rarer in '57 & '58.
