I discovered Banco de Gaia back in the 90's when I picked up a double CD called Transmissions From The Planet Dog. He had a few tracks on there and I've been hooked on Tobys music ever since. Timeless. Thanks Toby for all that you have done and will hopefully continue to do. Much love!!
This whole album meant a lot to me. I had just got out of jail in october 2000, the nights in Vancouver were cold, I had only one friend left. I remember those Camels on his roof-top at 5 am, waiting for curfew to end, staring out to Downtown from False-Creek, thinking about the past and the future. This all seemed to fit the bill.
I feel your past brother. Im from Van too. Pigeon park weed, Commercial drive hippies, yaletown warehouses before they were condos. The prostitutes along Richards street outside Richards on Richards. Graceland, Mars, Celebrities. East HAstings before it fell off to hell. The old electric trolly buses that always broke down. The raves in the Burnaby warehouse district. Raves at the Riverside Banquet Hall in Richmond. PNE on acid. English Bay at sunset. Being stoned driving around Stanley Park at night in my shitbox of a car. Hope you are doing well in your life brother. Peace. Never stop dancing brother.
Vocals by Jennifer Folker. Part of this album were recorded inside the Great Pyramid at Giza, The Temple of Seti at Thebes, and another locations in Egypt.
@@vanzolone Sure: There's a pulsating white light but it's beautiful It's like a tunnel of colors And it's like I'm floating up Through a tunnel of colors They move and they flow into each other And sometimes they mix And sometimes they don't They're changing and it looks like They're flowing through each other And on top of each other and sometimes mixing And making the colors and sometimes not Will I be able to fly through the different colors? That is the kind of statement that people make on the internet that I would usually call bullshit on, but I did a shit ton of research (I Googled it once) and it appears to be true... Cool!!!
Been listening to it on some web radio for years in and out , couldn't manage to download it. Now I could and I would like to thank you for that. Good quality too !
So you could not go on the artists website and buy the tune .... always looking for the free download the problem is you people need to support these artists and buy the tracks or we will all be stuck with twee songwriters droning on about some girl they had a night out with or dancers looking at asses....buy music if you love it tight arse.

I've had a similar situation. Here's hoping this album takes you into your future as much as it represents your past!

@@alejandrodelrio8302 thank you much. The final sung part, after 5.30 minutes, are they just vocalizations?
@@vanzolone Indeed, those are just random vocals, unless Jennifer or Toby Marks, aka Banco de Gaia knows what she´s signing on that ""chorus"
