  • This is a recording of a meeting titled "Supermassive Black Hole Studies with the Legacy Survey of Space and Time - 2022: Getting Ready for Rubin Operations" held remotely over Zoom on 2022 July 26-28. The meeting was organized by the Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) Science Collaboration. The organizers were W. Niel Brandt (Penn State University; USA), Demetra De Cicco (University of Napoli - Federico II; Italy), Gordon Richards (Drexel University; USA), and Matthew J. Temple (Universidad Diego Portales; Chile).
There are 6 talks in this recorded part with talk titles and speakers as follows:
"Building A Comprehensive Dataset in Preparation for LSST AGN Science: AGN Data Challenge and the Next" - Weixiang Yu (Drexel Univ)
"The LSST AGN Data Challenge: Selection methods" - Dorde Savic (Univ de Liege)
"Synergies between LSST and CTA for the study of the physics of relativistic jets" - Filippo D'Ammando (INAF-IRA Bologna)
"Multi-messenger observations of supermassive black hole binaries with LSST" - Maria Charisi (Vanderbilt University)
"Updates on services provided by the ALeRCE Broker for AGN science" - Lorena Hernandez-Garcia (MAS/UV)
"Studying the Variability of Quasars as a function of rest-frame wavelength" - Priyanjali Patel (Universidad de Chile)
Please refer to the other parts for the other talks. Each talk is about 25 min long including time for questions/discussion.
