The mino is one my favorite cruisers in the game. I love that it rewards skillful gameplay. This ship can output a nasty amount of damage in against anything. The guns alone have gotten me 100k damage. This whole line my winrate in all these ships vary from 60% to 80%. Great line. Also when can we expect dakka dudes with triple mino? I have done it before and it’s the best thing where 😂. My division on Minos killed a full health Des Moines in about 30~ sec with guns

Thank you for the review. I am currently playing Neptune, and love it. I really looking forward for the sonar:-). But yeah the shell arc, they are so good to hit ships behind islands.. and still the shells got a faster "airtime".
The Neptune is a good tier 9 ship, it Really teaches the ship Line. Gl on the grind Mino is worth it
Late veiw on a great vid!! I haven't even started in this line, but know a lot from years of fighting them with my Smol... Mino is a monster, but, it must be very technical, because it seems like in a Smol vs Mino fight, I either win big, or lose big, and not much in between. I think the ship must certainly reward a good driver, but someone who's hesitant with it will expose it's squishiness. I love light cruiser play, so now that I've almost finished Halland and Shima, I'm thinking maybe this should be next, although the new PanAsian is tempting...
I would say, using the wide spread in the fights like with GK and the second salvo on him, you have more time to retreat and be at a 90 degree angle instead of giving away a little more broadside for maybe 1/2 hits using single fire. also, in giving that period of time to fire all 8 in single fire, they are more likely to notice you doing so and it gets much easier for them to avoid and take evasive action. Just my 2c

I agree with everything but your comment that the British light cruiser is fun. I loved the Neptune, hated the Edinburgh, and tolerated most of the rest of the line. But the Neptune and Minotaur more than make up for the rest of the line IMHO.

I actually prefer Cunningham as this ships captain, you get the torp damage boost instead of the torp alert and just run a extra sonar.

Ah yes, as a heavy cruiser main, this is my favorite cruiser to see at tier 10 because it’s easier to kill then a Smolensk and it’s less annoying to play against.

@@BobLyn mino is a balanced version of Smolensk, I do however wish just from watching gameplay of it, that it has better shell arcs so a Mino can more efficiently kill DDs that are at medium to long range, because Mino’s arcs start to look American after 7 or 8 km, with guns that deal so little damage (from one salvo) I wish they’d be more consistent on the smaller targets for you guys. When you compare it to something like the heavier hitting cruisers like Hindenburg or Venezia that only need one salvo to cripple or even kill a DD, I feel Mino could use a little love to be able to do more damage in the two long range salvos it might get against a DD before the DD starts maneuvering, gets behind an island or just goes dark.
