this is probably long overdue but i wanted to thank you for all your tips for the 2022 igcse exam as i got A* and it was all thanks to your videos!! I wish good luck to the 2023 participants, you can do it :-D
This is quite late, but I just wanted to thank you for your videos! I'm one of the students who wrote the May/June IGCSEs for 2022, and I'm immensely proud to say I scored an A* for FLE. Our teacher would always play your videos every time we learnt a new topic or revisited an old one in class, and even now, your videos are still a huge help to me in my AS-Levels. Again, thank you so much!
I’m a Spanish as a First Language student, and your videos really help me despite being in English! Literally, there’s NOTHING about the Spanish exam. It’s a struggle!
This help a lot..thank you so much.. I am one of the 2023 may june students line up But I still lack confidence. I think I need more if your instruction vdos to boost my grade.. I am looking forward to more if your videos.. Thank you so much.. Plz upload more videos...

Hi I have taken English GCSE back in 2018 when I was in college and managed to get 4 but I am in my final year of university and really want to have another go and get something higher hopefully a 6 and I am thinking of doing IGCSE this time just because I am not English myself and thought this may be a more suitable paper. Any tips please? Also can you briefly mention what the 2 papers will include etc I would highly appreciate that!
Can you give some advice on FLE to a private student? Hello IGCSESUCCESS, I really like your videos(very edifying) on FLE.It's good to see there is someone like you investing in unknown:)students all over this planet, through your videos. I have some questions... 1)How can I divide the Coursebook into study sections over the next two years I have to study? How to organise my course effectively? 2)How can I as a private student sree my progress in writing when I don't have a teacher to correct !y work and give feedback? 3)Can you recommend me some top books to read for literature ? Hope you can answer my questions. Thanks. P.S.:Keep on posting those useful videos about FLE:-)
Thanks so much for the tutorial, I wasn’t sure about how to answer this question but now it’s a lot clearer! I just have one question. Do we have to use imagery and imagery related literary devices for all our evidence or can we use ones that don’t necessarily have to do with imagery (like alliteration or euphemisms for example) if we find them and have something to say about them?
I would stick to looking at imagery (personification, simile, metaphors etc.) as well as zooming into individual words and phrases, exploring connotations. You don’t even need to refer to word class .. The word ‘…..’ is particularly powerful as it suggests… The use of imagery is effective as it suggests… Is more than enough :)!
Hello! Do you think it is worth it to spend some time to put all your ideas in bullet points (explicit, implicit, implicit) on scrap paper before starting to write? Or do you think it would take a lot of useful time and I should just go on and answer the question?
thank your sir! I have started gaining marks in these questions ever since I followed your videos, looking forward to my boards, one question - do you correct/check the march series 0500 papers in Cambridge which come from INDIA?
As much as you want provided you don’t lose focus and end up self-penalising. I try and get my Year 11s to write 400 for writer’s effect and 400+ for extended writing.
Smash the big questions (writer's effect, summary and q3) lots of practice, ensuring you know the correct techniques. Paper 2... Decide on whether you are going to do narrative or descriptive and practice, practice, practice. Non-fiction writing is important for both... Learn all the text types and read a wealth of examples.
One of the best English teacher. Even my own English teacher doesn't teach this well
Thanks for your kind words 🙏

Hello!
Do you think it is worth it to spend some time to put all your ideas in bullet points (explicit, implicit, implicit) on scrap paper before starting to write? Or do you think it would take a lot of useful time and I should just go on and answer the question?
Quick annotations. Implicit only.
Thank you
Sir are the students allowed to annonate on the final board paper inserts? Few say CAIE may penalize students.
They can annotate inserts.
