You know, I've wondered what are the hobbies and personalities of your (named) dolls. Would be interesting to know them more as people rather than just the brand they are. I mean I get it, the brand is important, but I'm still curious.
Awh sorry to heart that it is upsetting to you. I customise my dolls as a way to express my emotions and creativity, they are a sort of diary to me and in many cases they symbolise a chapter in my life or some sort of emotion connected to an event. I felt the pressure in the past to give them specific personalities and backstories, I got the impression that it was somehow required or expected in the hobby, but after further thought it felt very forced and not authentic. So I decided to keep them raw and simple :)
I have to say I love all the videos that I have watched, but my favorite has to be the "My BJD's- Holiday Special." I have not been subscribed to your channel for that long, but that one really filled me in on what you do, and your love for dolls. The work and time you put into the dolls just got me hooked, I guess you would say. Thanks for making videos and repainting dolls. Sorry if I messed up the title of my favorite video.

Another thing about BJDs is that you can change their eyes because the head can be opened. They tend to be a lot taller then regular dolls (such as the barbie) too. I am intending to buy my first one, and it's going to be a Medium Sized Doll, MSD for short, meaning around 46 centimeters. I am pretty new to the concept as well, as I've discovered them a few months ago. Luckily it's Almost my birthday (this Saturday) and I can buy my first probably second handed then, considering one of the least expensive BJD I have ever seen was a tiny doll from Doll Leaves, which still costs around 120 dollars.

Most companies offer faceups for their dolls. Fairyland does it as well, you will just need to pay extra. Otherwise I suggest checking which faceup artists offers commissions, Den of Angels is a good forum for that but there are many other BJD forums that you can find through Google as well.
