Things spiritual, religious, psychological, physical and practical are so interwoven, yet we analytically separate them. The great questions of our lives are both “out there” and external, and also within us, at the core of our being. Journaling helps us to know ourselves, what we believe, where we are, where we’ve been, who we are, and where we hope to go. I’d add to your prompts: what is good, what is beautiful, what is true? Do I believe there is an immaterial spiritual reality, or is the material world all that exists? Am I made for some purpose beyond myself, or am I my own ultimate purpose.
Favorite question: Are humans innately good or evil? My question: Is happiness really your main goal in life? Happiness looks very different for each person. Having chronic depression my happy definitely doesn't look like other peoples happy. My goal is to be fulfilled and satisfied in my life, not necessarily happy.
Coffee and conversation with you? YES PLEASE! These were great prompts. I think if I journaled my book would be soaking wet from the tears from suppressed emotions and the high level of introspection My question to consider: Are mistakes to be taken for face value or are we rerouted in life for a specific purpose? In other words, were you supposed to change your major in college so that you could save someone’s life as a ER medical professional…did you reject your ex for the millionth time so that she could eventually get the help she needed for her addiction…did you relocate and fall on hard times only so you could be humbled 🤔🤔🤔
Coffee and a conversation are my middle name 😂😂haha. ohh i really like that prompt. sort of falls in line with the destiny and fate kind of question. I think this is definitely one that people should consider writint about
Self realization, growth, knowing… it’s a big deal. Great vid. I journal, write prose, and haiku for self care. The act of writing is very grounding for me.. of course fountain pens, nibs, ink and paper/journals make it really fun. I consider having a value system, and living it to be the key to well being. Therefore I continue to reflect upon my thoughts and beliefs, and how they work or don’t work within my value system. Cool content.
Well said! I think that was one of the main reasons i made this video. the idea of having a value system is such a nebulous concept to a lot of people because theyve never really sat down to explore their values and where they came from. Living by that value system and understand why theyre important to you is a big deal! Thank you for the comment! im really happy you enjoy the content.

This is such a good question. without defining what happiness is to us, we'll never really know when we're there.

Do you think happiness is a choice?
Do you think unhappiness is learned?
Journal prompt: Does God exist? How do you know He exists or does not exist?
This is a phenomenal prompt. Definitely recommend people look into this one.
