How on earth did you manage to get Sibelius to compose a walking-bassline from chord-symbols, please?

Thanks Nils. The read through goes live on Friday. It was great to finally hear my arrangement with my band (rather than MIDI)

Elliot, is it possible for you to show the chord /piano line BELOW say the saxes ON THE SCORE so we could see how you resolve your ensemble voicings to target chord.?
    Thanks.

Hey man, awesome vid! You should really look into the plugin note-performer for Sib. Really cheap for what it does and will improve the playback sounds dramatically, it's night and day difference.

I’ve used it. It does sound better, but I have good reasons why I’ve stuck with general midi… might be a good video topic.

You are amazing! Can you please make a video about pads harmonizatios? I don't know if that's the right way to call it. I hope you understad. When I try to make a background thing it sounds too harshy . I would love an advice from you. Thank you for those videos.😎😎

What context are you curious about? 3-horn pads for rock bands? Or do you mean writing solo backgrounds?

I find your videos very instructive and your love for the music is obvious.
One detail question, what sound set (vst) do you use for your mock-up ahead of hearing it with your band?
    Thank you

I use Sibelius’ general midi. It sounds robotic and unmusical, but I am used to it and it works for me.
