In much of the early to mid 90s, I was on Geri Allen's music and then I am very familiar with the works of Esperanza Spalding and Terri Lyne Carrington. This is just musical magic. Much love and respect and of course, RIP Geri.

I love a strong fat bass line ..but I'm infatuated with that upright sound.. being fretless it produces sounds that are unmatchable and simply unmistakable while miss Spaldings hands are behind the majic
