Ever wonder what the last five-ish days look like before closing up a spray operation for the winter? Most people probably don't procrastinate like we do, but we also pack all of our personal belongings up after living in the hangar for 4 months. Aside from packing, we have to make sure everything is winterized so it doesn't freeze, do a deep clean on the airplane, and clean the hangar and office. We also had a couple of added projects this year because we did some modifications to our motorcycles in September. Never a fun process but nice once it's all done!

I never knew there was so much work to do in ag aviation. I respect you and admire you for your diligent efforts. You are much appreciated in the aviation community as well as the community here on youtube. Thanks for sharing your videos. I'm loving every minutes of it. God Bless.
Thank you for the very kind words Walt.
30 minutes = 4 hours and 2 trips to the hardware store. I felt that in my soul.
😂
Wow! Working like demons. Excellent vid.
Thanks for watching mark!
As always, so fun to watch. It has to feel great to complete another year, and at the same time a bit of sadness to pull up stakes and leave that part of your life behind you.
Best wishes!!!!
Always mixed emotions!
I can feel the tension between you two lol
Haha 😬

Washing off the bugs, grime, bottom of the wings and belly is the worst. I don't miss that!

Probably bores the hell outa ya,,,,but not us...thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Even-though I enjoy the flying video's, this ground based videos do offer a very nice insight in the operation. Must be so great to pack up after a season. Don't worry about the procrastination, there's always tomorrow. So recognizable, delays because a friend comes over for coffee (great reason for delays) or the need to go to town for stuff. Even the half hour choir that takes 4 and two trips to the hardware store, it happens a lot.
Was wondering about the rear cleaning with the panels of, I did see some 'boxes' and wires/hoses it seems, nothing gets damaged by the high pressure water?
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks for watching. We cover the electronics and try to not spray them directly and then stay off them with the pressure washer. If its 4’ back it doesn’t have much pressure.
Are there any videos coming of your off season? Thanks for sharing all the great content!
You can find us over at Adventure Rig (RUclips, Instagram, Facebook) for a lot of off season stuff.
I fly my rc model airtractor all year as long as the runway dry
That’s pretty cool!
I saw that paramotor in the shed! That is awesome! Do you get to fly it regularly?
Usually early season and late season. Great flying here.
Do some vids about my two fav ADV motorcylcles, please. You have both of them , the T700 and is that a KTM 790 (or is the 890)?
Find us over at @adventurerig. We are packing and heading for the Mexico border today. Taking the 790 and 890. Although I think the T7 is one hell of a bike too.
Ty, do you use Roundup degreaser to clean your dirt bike also?
I have used and has not been an issue.
I was talking to a friend that said that he feels being an ag Aerial applicator or crop duster would be boring and I disagreed but I also have never done it and neither has he. I was wondering from those that have done it if it does become tedious or boring and if so when and how to fight that?
I have a good friend that says if you had to fly to the moon every day it would eventually get boring. This can get old but every field is different with its own obstacles. I'm also goal orientated and it's a challenge to see how much work I can do every day.
Hello, been following your videos a while, great information. I recently became involved in an AG operation and getting started. My PPL is nearly complete and I'll be starting my commercial soon. I'll be attending the convention in Savannah this year, my new boss will be exhibiting. Are both of you attending? Would be awesome to meet you and say hello in person!! Take care! Sophia
That’s great Sophia!! We will not be able to make it there.
@@AgAviationAdventures Hopefully one year you will. From what I hear there are very few women Pilots spraying so I'm excited about the future and what opportunities are ahead! Have fun during off season ❤
Do you ever get airsick?
No
have you ever thought of using a foam cannon it works great???
I forgot to bring it with us this year.
Do you have to go to college to get into crop dusting
