    Originally planned as a children's show 'Do Not Adjust Your Set' soon gained a large adult following. Featuring Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, David Jason and Denise Coffey with animation by Terry Gilliam and music interludes by Neil Innes the programme brought together some of the great writers and performers that would eventually create Monty Python.

    It’s a shame that Terry can no longer speak. Such a well spoken and intelligent man. And one of the funniest guys on the planet. Prince Herbert will forever be my favorite character of his.

    That bit about the three of them getting £100 between them, £30 ish each, around the same time as that my mum was getting somewhere between £5-£7 a week for her job working at burlingtons catalogue so, yeah, id say it wasnt too bad lol. depends how often they got paid that i suppose.
