How ever when she died my mom saw no reason to hang onto them and threw about 7+ hours of footage out!! I remember watching this very one- always Jonathan Ross at the start! Your channel is amazing as I am finally seeing all these interviews and clips from my childhood- much love

I remember watching this at the time - An interesting period for the Pythons as they weren't really getting on leading up to their 30th. Eric Idle was especially at odds and angry over the falling through of first the new film, then the 30th anniversary stage tour.
The male moviegoer in the ivory-cream sweater with the shoulder-length blonde hair at about 22:30 is the very talented actor Noel Fielding who plays the extremely eccentric character, Richmond Avenal ( theitcrowd.wikia.com/wiki/Richmond_Avenal) in the very entertaining sit-com called the I.T. crowd. You would have to see him without the makeup to be able to recognize him, but the voice is so distinctive.. I really love the Pythons... I hope that they enjoy a long life of wacky joy with abundant health and prosperity.
Noel is known for rather more than his small part in The I.T. Crowd. What about his stand-up, The Mighty Boosh and being a regular captain on Never Mind The Buzzcocks? I was lucky enough to meet him briefly when I was in the front row of the audience at a recording of ...Buzzcocks. Nice guy.
I wondered why he would be doing a vox pops in a 1999 Comedy Central TV show, way before the Boosh was a thing.
