Excellent effect. For those who don't have double facers with the same card, you can use a different double face card, and force the normal card corresponding to one of the sides. If you place them together, you can have the same effect, being able to show the forced card in the end without gimmicks
I have enough spare Bicycle cards lying around to make a double facer. I've worked through the effect several times. I could see how a spectator would be amazed! I'll definitely be using this one! Thanx Sean.
I'd think you would need to have a good way to remove the gaff on an off beat because I'm thinking that deck is going to be HOT HOT HOT after they see that picture.
Nice idea. I anyone does not have such a special double face card, no worries! Any double face card will do. Say we have a JS/7H. Remove the JS from the deck, insert the double face card with the JS side face-up, and force the 7H on the spectator. Then proceed as shown, making sure that both the double face card and the 7H are amongst the cards for the final spread.
This is a beautiful routine. I bought a download years ago with Dan and Dave teaching it. At the time I felt it was a little difficult for me. This is easy and straight to the point. Thanks for sharing this Sean!!!!
I like this a lot. I love double exposure. For years if spmeone asked for a trick they got double exposure. Only reason i stopped was that is was impossible to follow up with anything as good.
I love the idea of using a borrowed deck or just carrying around a normal deck to access any time. And I love Asi Wind's "Double Exposure" trick that Sean mentions in the vid. But! I have to say, this version is in some if not many ways, stronger. Nothing wrong with carrying around a few gaffed cards around to perform miracles. It's all in the way a trick is presented, anyway, and not what the trick itself is. Fabulous video!
Very nice, like the use of their phone in this trick .Thanks for the upload. Oh I just went through my box of gaff cards and the only double facer I had was yes the jack of diamonds, spooky.
Like this.. I do “coin on call” a lot.. same trick but penny/dime photo… as far as hiding the card (kinda a clean up thing) if you rough spray the card and card above it.. so after you do the fan in their hands.. you can just spread the deck on the table.. not bring attention to it or anything.. just kinda do it.. then do the reveal….
If you do the force with a Hindu shuffle.. put a few split colored back cards…. Then have their card and other back color showing… then when put all back.. spread the cards and theirs is vanished (from being roughed)… look at picture.. and be like weird.. we where using the blue deck… but the pitcher is all red cards with yours facing out… then grab red deck with card loaded face up… and reveal… that’s the quick less detail idea I brainstormed… sure you kinda get the idea.

You could easily pocket it while their attention is focused on the image. 👍
Lovely little trick Sean. Double backers are so much fun! Thanks for sharing.👍

In this style : a routine by the Canadian Michel Huot with blank cards. I do not remember the name but saw it in conf notes.
And as always in his work, he is a worker so it has a great impact and it is bulletproof
I noticed that today 10/3/23 the video you started to show was removed by the uploader. Was this intentional or a glitch?
Hey so quick question for u Sean how do u show that their card is face up in the fan of the picture
The DF does all the work!
