Personally I just use the lightning network and send my DCA BTC to a lightning wallet. Once I have enough in that lightning wallet, I send it to my hardware wallet on base-chain.
Thanks for this. Do you have a video where you illustrate a large number of small UTXOs that you can consolidate using this method, thus saving on fees.
thank you so much, but how can we hold our liquid asset on ledger Nano s. can you make content or give something for this ??? because i tried before but that was so hard !!!!!🙏
I don't know why you would move funds into lightning and then from there into liquid. If you wanted to get into liquid it'd probably be better to go from bitcoin mainnet to liquid to save a step.
what's the point of converting to L-BTC and then storing it in your self-custodial wallet that way? if you're paying for an on-chain transaction why wouldn't you just transfer it to your wallet directly as BTC?
How much did you pay for peggin out L-BTC? onchain transaction fee was 10 dollars, but i think you paid 20? paid 90000sats its like paying 60usd now bitcoin is at 68,000
I don't see how strike's no fee option would even work - I've experimented with electrum and sending 1 satoshi / vbyte transactions and had one stuck for a month before it actually disappeared from the mempool. Your transaction won't even be accepted with a 0 fee in today's environment. (I was around in 2011, though, and back then you could do 0 satoshi / byte)
Supposedly the Ledger Nano S can be used, but I haven't done it myself. Here's a list of compatible wallets - help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000633526-Where-can-I-get-a-Liquid-wallet-
Hello. Great video. Thank you for sharing. I am trying to get strike app in U.K.. or in some middle of Europe countries. Didn’t succeed yet. Do you know how to go about this? Where will they be available in U.K.? Thank you for your work
Not sure on Strike's plans to expand to the UK, though I'm sure they'd be working on it; however, I believe CoinCorner does support the Lightning Network and may be worth checking out - www.coincorner.com/

I always find your content invaluable in enhancing my BTC education, greatly appreciated. Thanks Nathan.
wow thanks really needed this info but would like you to do a video on Sideswap with a Jade HWW
Thanks for the video tutorial. When you use sideswap to swap BTC to USDT does it swap to USDT or is it a liquid USDT?
Thx. Good tutorial.
Awesome! Didn’t know this exists
Nathan, where do you get all this knowledge? Would like to get more into this field and need some advice. like your stuff.

So the purpose of having L-BTC is that you can swap it to USDT?
Thank you for this

I wish there was another hardware wallet option for Liquid than Jade. I haven't found one yet.

Hey Nathan, do you know if it's possible to import a SideSwap wallet using a BIP85 seedphrase?
Will it ever depeg? Or always one to one to BTC? Thanks for the amazing video.
As long as 11 members of the 15-member federation agree that it's pegged 1:1
Please, make the video with Jade wallet 😊
