@@SNAC-xz7zy but James and Charles's are way too similar. You can see how their facial features aren't visible, just shadowed. I think this is a foreshadowing most of Lookism readers will miss but notice later on

Ptj is the king of hype for a relatively slow chapter those few panels of gun made this an easy 9/10
Looks like seongji is fighting some demons himself. The pannel where he's on the one dide of the door in shadow and one of the cheonliang fam is on the other dide in the light was one of the highlights of this chapter for me.
Yeah man dude thought the mountain land like Cheongliang is more safer than the big cities but it was way waayyy worse for him. 😂

Kinda weird the yamazaki members didn't just back down after seeing gun considering gun is one of the most important members in the yamazaki clan, its logical that every yamazaki should know his name, i feel like theyll explain later or maybe next chapter they wont fight and its just a bait cliffhanger.
It did say both Kojima were ex yamazaki members so that’s probably why

Cuz no way hundreds of yamazaki members and not even one of them doesnt recognize gun right? And for the kojima brothers to not recognize gun then they must have left quite early before gun was born in the first place, which would also mean either the kojima brothers are recruiting new yamazaki members under their own name instead of the true branch or every single yamazaki member working for the shaman are people who left before gun was born
Well they are all Former Yamazaki Clan members from gen 0 so the most likely hood is that gun wasn’t born when they left or they only remembered Gun as a Child which would make sense since Gun didn’t have his Ui Eyes when he was little.
Gun stopped charles from introducing himself the other members maybe leave the clan by the time gun was one of the important character and. Then other members also leave with them

I think his personality from the start of the series is just his an endorced version of his middle school personality, probably due to trauma, imagining losing your friend, your teacher, your family, left alone and being tortured for years, all of that will add up to eventually form a toxic personality like now, he is slowly getting it back tho because he is gonna return to his past now to become stronger

Young gun who was struggling with 4 major crews in the past is stronger than Charles choi? 😂 Ptj is smoking some heavy shit if he let this happen. He needs to reveal that kojima bros were just some frauds in the next chapter or it would disrupt the balance completely.
1.) It would mean that 1st gen kings were just pure fodders from the start. 1st gen king title was never worth any shit.
2.) 16 yr old gun would be narratively equal to a prime james lee (cuz a young gun could've also ended the 1st gen if he wanted)
3.) 2nd gen never made any progress at all and current gun could smoke them all at once even if they jump him together.
4.) It would also downscale current jinyong, goo,tom and charles.
5.) It would kill the entire hype of incheon and busan kings.
5.) It would also mean that current gun is easily stronger than KOS and james cuz kings are by far the strongest opponents both juan and prime james (strongest version of james) faced. It means that 16 yr old gun was pretty much on their base level so current gun is stronger then them or can give them an extreme diff fight.
If I am being honest there is still a decent gap between top tiers and 1st gen Kings.
Narratively Gun and Goo should be able to grow to prime James level especially Gun. I would not be surprised if PTJ said Gun was actually holding back so much in the series early on, seeing that Gun strength has been pretty inconsistent it might even be retconned since then 💀
@@AnimeAnniverseryI think ptj would never do that cuz authors who make fighting mangas or comics greatly exaggerate their nation's strength. For eg. Olivia and sikorsky in baki are very strong characters but they are nothing in front of yujiro and baki. Same here. PTJ introduced james as the peak of the series and James is also based on a very popular real life kpop star g dragon. Gapryong is also based on a legendary real life korean fist fighter named Kim Duhan. So I doubt he would let the duo surpass them. All the foreign fighters that have been introduced so far are barely stronger than Manager Kim's squad except gun and goo. Last time I checked, goo is barely stronger than an old Tom lee and goo is considered an equal of gun. So I think a current FP gun would be a bit stronger than current goo with a sword but I might be exaggerating.

Jichang is a fraud? Dude is still the second strongest king after KOS. Charles shocked state doesn't mean that they are strong or something. Even gun was shocked when he first saw brekdak at a ramen store. Charles could've easily packed them brothers and Yamazaki alone without any effort but his days as a fighter are over. He was no longer 2nd in command of gapryong's fist. He's a buisnessman now that's why he hired gun and goo to do the dirty work for him. He barely fights when there's no option left and when he fought he handled BH and jichang mid diff. He didn't kill that shaman and brothers cuz he bought gun with him to do the work. It's not like he wasn't capable of doing the job himself.
