I’m like you. Huge difference between no makeup and makeup - lol, I know all about it! My kids are 26 and 24 and I put a full face of makeup on every single day since the day they were born. I’m not fast at getting the makeup on so truthfully, when they were little, it would take upwards of an hour to get it all on (due to stopping for feeding/diaper changes etc..). Don’t feel bad about doing it. I need makeup on to feel good too. I get it. It didn’t negatively affect my kids either. They are both college graduates with full time careers and are responsible, contributing to society, young adults. You go girl!
I just wanna say That bite size too faced peach palette is amazing. I love it so much. So small and easy to travel with but the colors in it are perfect for easy simple cute looks. Comes with a base shade a transition a deepening shade and some beautiful metallic type shadows. 😍 you got a bunch of goodies.

I totally wish I would have tried to do way more for myself when my son was little because it's crazy how even some eyeliner and mascara make you feel like a brand new person. She's also more likely to fend off PPD this way too. Lack of self care and not feeling yourself can pull you under. I can attest

I've heard that Marc Jacobs highlighter can work on some lighter skin tones if u just lightly dust it over ur face. So maybe try it different ways and hopefully it will work for u.

As a stay at home mom to a teen with Autism, I also do my makeup every morning. And just like you...I do it for me. I'm going back to work the week after next but for close to 17 years I've been on a journey with my kid. Don't let anyone tell you what's normal for you and yours. Only you know what's best for you and your child.
