Hello Derek, how are you? I must say, the modern cars don't do much for me. Early this year I went to a Jag show with cars from D type replicas, mark 4 and 5s all the way up to the most modern. The older ones were magic, with wall to wall Walnut, where the new ones are just bland black plastic. A friend has just purchased a 1948 Anglia Ute, complete car, that has come out of a shed. Very little rust and last registered in 1977. I hope that his grandson will restore it one day when he finishes the 1960's Nissan Patrol he is working on.
Yes, the older stuff is good. But the Show scene is changing. At least younger people are getting interested even if their cars are newer. I don't know. Perhaps we are lucky to have a car scene at all!
Oh and the weather does not help. Old stuff does not come out in the rain. My arthritis is acting up at the moment. Thanks for asking! I hope you are well.
