Jbl you make the best earbuds from budget to expensive i really love them
Bought them on last big sale day for half price and love them. So much I stocked them away with my 'special occasion' buds and bought the 230NC for daily driver rotation. Enjoy _those_ so much I also got the 130NC - both on sale under $50. 130/230 are VERY different - 230 far brighter but both have that JBL thump and natural timbre across mids.
The one thing I wish they all did better was high treble. I like a clean sharp crispy tweeter like top end and Soundcore is better at that. JBL is warmer, more 'Harman' (they are Harman owned after all)
Really impressed with JBL products and tech - battery life especially.

I have the older JBL Pro Plus for 2 years now. They've been perfect except the transparency mode isn't that great. It let's in too much wind noise as does the ANC modes. Hopefully they've improved that with these.

It's pretty secure for stem-style earbuds, and you can use just one at a time.

Love the sound, more so as for the level of customization.. Best price performance, and that is the USP..
An observation about the ANC: It's basically a bass booster. When using the adaptive mode I couldn't understand why the bass level kept fluctuation and even using the Bass EQ didn't resolve it. I switched to manual adjustment and the more you increase it the more bass there is. For me the best option is to set Jazz EQ with the ANC one notch from Max.
How is the transparency mode, does it sound as natural voice? Also with ANC are there pressure build up feel in the ears?
@@YUTfan2 I haven't used transparency mode. There's no pressure build with manual ANC but I did experience it with the Adaptive mode.

@@YUTfan2 I only use them with my phone. When I insert the buds it says connected and music plays through them after I touch play. If I remove both buds music is automatically paused on my phone and will play through its speakers if press play again.
@@mrd64 May I know whether you tried on android or iOS? Because amazon answers says opposite to yours. (Maybe they tried on ios)

Hello bro, I still can’t decide which is better, I use an iPhone and look towards JBL as they are cheaper, but there are doubts whether they will be worse than Airpods pro 2? Will they play just as well on the iPhone?
They sound better for music than the AirPods to my ears. But noise canceling is noticeably better on the AirPods.
I used to have jbl tws 100 3 years back and I have listened to these and tws 230nc they sound great and loud and bassy. But these sound very close and also don't miss clarity at higher volume unlike Sony xm4. But these misses separation and clarity of the Sony. Sony sucks above70% of volume. I still bought Sony because these were 12k and Sony where 13k in my country so brought Sony I some times miss jbl bass. Jbl warranty is online process so they suck I have good time with Sony service centre unlike jbl. So brought Sony.

These have a big with Bluetooth dropping out on a Sony Bravia Android TV and a bit with my iPhone.
How do they compare with the Redmi Buds 4 Pro?
After the right bud of my original JBL Live pro+ died, I got their successor as a replacement. I have to say they have been good so far. They are definitely better than their predecessor. Love the multipoint ability. The seal is much better with the oval shape than the round shape. The ANC is definitely better. Got to love the multipoint ability. The best part about them. Love it. However, it still lacks full customization of the controls and there is some minor interruption and cutting out.

WF-1000XM4 is better than JBL Live Pro 2. It sounded clearer because it doesn't boost the lower treble (Presence region) as much as JBL Live Pro 2. I have been using JBL Live pro 2 since last year. I love it feature set especially for this price. I just wish the equalizer could reduce this nasty Presence region with making it sound dull. I also don't like high latency. but for music it decent because of the great bass response.
The live pro 2 eq should make it perfect. It's a 10 band eq.

I’ve tried both and kept the JBLs. Liberty 4 have paper thin treble to the point they sound like 40$ buds. Bass is good tho. V disappointed. JBLs balanced and sound great

The one plus have pretty thin treble like the Liberty 4. JBLs are balanced and full at most frequencies.
Yes, the sound is very nice, but there is a problem with the right earphone. I bought 3 and the right earphone of 2 of them does not work. I think there is a problem with the software. It does not recognize the right earphone.

@henriquerodrigues9449 bro i have tested both. I went with galaxy buds 2 pro. Jbl is bassy but not that quality bassy. Samsung is crystal clear and bassy while bass is so quality. And u can consider buying oneplus buds pro 2

For me JBL live pro 2 with eq beats most of all of earbuds with sound.
Recently, bought it and the ANC is not as great compared to my previous Jabra 75T. When activated, I can still hear the sound of my finger tapping on my table. Not sure if it is a defect by the manufacturer or if I need to get a Comply foam tip for improvement.
How about the bass how does it compare to 75t
If your live pro 2 anc is worse than 75t than something is wrong with your earbuds or you dont get a good fit in live pro 2 with your eartips

Linkbuds S when I go to a restaurant or a bar the mic quality is really bad, people from the other side doesn't understand what I say, very muffled voice, besides that on calls they have transparent mode enabled by default and it's not possible to disable it, it's a disgusting effect, not good at all. I bought them because of the test your did, but in real life the result could be much different compared to your test.
Appreciate the feedback. It applies very heavy noise gating depending on the scenario. I wish there was a way to replicate different scenarios from the studio when testing. But in general, other TWS wouldn't have fared better.
@@aaronloudnwireless My girlfriend today was in the airplane talking to me till the gate was closed, impossible to understand her with the people talking around, the normal noise you get in an airport, she has the Oneplus Buds pro (version 1) as a backup and I was able to hear her very well with that buds, but that same Oneplus performs really bad when I'm in the bicycle and there is wind. If I'm washing the dishes, the Linkbuds S mic perform excellent, the same with wind when I'm in my bicycle, the problem seems to be in places where there is too much people where the voice become really muffled to the point that is better to talk directly to the phone.
My jbl live pro 2 stuck in mono mode!
The two earphones can see each other, the phone can also see them, the gesture control also works, the case charges both evenly (I can see this in the application), but only the left earpiece speaks. I suspect a synchronization problem, the two earphones should somehow be re-paired manually, but the user manual does not provide information on this. Neither charging, restarting, nor factory reset helped, I searched the known internet for a solution, but nothing. If anyone has an idea, pls write it down, thanks in advance!

Absolutely no review is talking about, the connection problems the earbuds have, go read about sound cutting problems many many people have with these earbuds( including me)

@@joaopaulocancio9385 yes i had to switch to other phone i had Xiaomi phones and on my Samsung s24 ultra it had it as well but after software update on earphones it's now been fixed. At least it sees so...

At $80-$100, I find these Live Pro 2s to be a much better deal than the Sony Xm4s and Linkbuds S.
Yep, that sibilance is definitely coming from the videos I was watching. In general (playing music) it doesn't have that issue. That part has been edited out. 👍🏻

Fr my own experience with JBL, it's not built to last. Bought
200+ bux JBL UA earphone, battery died, rubber came off, cable 1 sided sound within 1 yr
JBL flip 4 and 5, battery died within 1year plus, rubber on speaker damaged making horrible sound
All in all I won't buy JBL again, sound is ok but there are better ones out there. quality is cheapo
I have UE speakers 5years on, battery strong, sound strong, sounds better too
Have many JBL speakers and they’ve all last 5+ years. Either you’re buying knock offs or have really bad luck.
In real life situations these are trash poor microphone quality and sound quality and disconnected issues to many you tube reviews are not honest probably paid reviews
