Please pray for me, brother's and sisters. I need this so much. I keep falling weak for the same sin over and over. I pray for fortitude. I feel incomplete now as Churches are closed down due to this Covid pandemic and we are quarantined. I want to go to confession so much. I thirst for it and God's Grace. I hear Jesus telling me to reconcile, repent, and amend my ways, and most importantly to Trust in Him.
Wynn Neal I will pray for you. Worry not, my sibling in Christ, for you are not in this alone. I too have a thirst, quenchable only by his blood in the confession, in all his love and mercy. I will pray for you to receive confession. I ask that you to pray for me to receive confession.
Sister, Confession helped me conquer my addiction to a sin that had plagued me for years. You have the right prescription. Embrace suffering, when you feel the compulsion painfully. In that moment, blinded by pain, confused by excuses my brain seems to make so quickly, I reached out to God, remembering how the excuses always led me to regret, and with an angry 'No' to the sin that was expecting me to be its slave, the terrible urge washed out of me - it felt like I could feel the compulsion leaving my body, washing out of me. That was the final major battle, after so many failures before that. Confession allowed me to regroup myself after each failure, and close to Him, to fight again. Now I'm struggling to clear other evils out of my life. Daily Rosary is my prescription until Confession is available to you. Contact your parish for Confession options, if available. I will remember your struggle in my daily Rosary going forward. God bless sister.
@@MaryMost Thank you for your prayers. I shall pray for you as well. May we find ourselves in Joy with the Prince of Peace. I find myself feeling at peace when I pray to our Holy Mother.
Well said Reverend Father and thank you for sharing this inspiring sermon. But some of us are not lucky enough to access the Sacraments Reconciliation and Eucharist as well as the Holy Mass itself because of the closures of many Catholic parishes due to the Coronavirus pandemic threats. For those of you who are still accessing the Sacraments and Holy Mass, please pray for us sinners especially myself.

Are we supposed to confess predominant defects?
Hello. Mortification is one way of struggling through it. www.catholictradition.org/Christ/predominate-fault.htm
