I just got mine in the mail today, Not what I was hoping for. Best I could get is maybe 10ft distance with nothing in the way at all. More like 3-6ft range... no where near the 20ft advertised sadly... On kickstarter every comment from the backers is pretty much saying the same thing.
Love it. This is far better than my idea of small radioactive flakes in the disc and an actual Geiger counter. I hope the PDGA makes an exemption to locater tags like these quick.
Too bad it doesn't work at all. Check kickstarters comments. David basically feels like a con man at this point.... not responding to anyone on there. Not a single happy comment device doesn't work for more than 3ft...
Very nice idea, i am so sick of searching discs but what about other Discs around the lost Discs ? For Example disc bags or the discs of other players who uses the stickers too? I think they could mislead the Signal.
Thanks for the compliment. Very shrewd observation! The simple solution is to set down your bag full of discs just outside the area you are searching for your disc. This is a tool to recover the discs that you can't find by just looking.
I love the idea but $150 seems really expensive for a RFID sticker and a simple device that beeps. Plus 20ft isn’t much when the disc can roll down a hill or hit a tree and redirects a totally different direction that I didn’t see. Don’t get me wrong, I think you have the right idea but needs a couple more years of development. I’ll have to wait for the price drop or a competitor to make it cheaper.
This. It legitimately needs more range. If I can get things to 20 feet, I'm always finding my disc, but today I had to look for almost 15 minutes after a blind scramble where I actually hit my line and got a great result, just like 60 feet away from where I expected. Trees and hills, man, trees and hills.
He advertises 20ft.... everyone on kickstarter says it is closer to 3 feet. I own one sadly. Biggest let down of a product I've had in awhile. This will not find your disc.

Doesn't work as advertised. Only gets 3feet of range so you're not finding your disc anyways.

@@andywilliams8147 how disappointing. Hopefully someone will take his idea and make it better. Doesn’t seem that hard with today’s technology.
