I mean I realize there are only so many sounds and tempos but I think some new original hard shit needs to be slammed not dropped. For example when cyberoptics came out holy fxxk that was epic as fxxk as well as excision , datsik, downlink, liquid stranger and so on the hardsyle robot cutting edge gangsta shit music that's what I personally am missing. Never the less awesome mix.

Techno really hasn't improved since around 2010. Search for 'Top 5 Dubstep BASS DROPS' that has 26 million views. Country music hasn't improved since the 1980's. And Rock peaked in the 90's. I wonder what is next?
Yeah but techno is easy and interesting to produce, dubstep is also fun to make and the sound design is a entertaining process, but I’m feeling a lot of techno recently, i literally just dropped a techno song this morning, but yeah I’m also looking forward to the future and the interesting genres that’ll create.

But that video that I mentioned did impress me, it was different, I probably heard it at least 5 years after it was released. It's nice to hear something new. It will be tougher and tougher to come up with a totally new genre. I'm thinking classical orchestra instruments should be used more, something that sounds like a big production like the background music heard in some movies in the theater. I'm waiting for something new, until then I mostly listen to music that is at least 30 years old.
