The way Onew’s vocal tone changes with who he’s singing with and what song he’s singing.. 👌. In a duet with Jongshin, his voice was fuller, more powerful, in a duet with Suhyun twas playful and fresh. I love this duet too.

Oh, this is onew's specialty. he's got one of the most unique tones in kpop and his range is incredible. he could easily overpower anyone singing but he's so good at fitting his voice, range and tone to whoever he's singing with. 14 years on, his voice just keeps getting better and better but he's still underrated because people dont think his style is flashy enough, but sometimes it's fun to see people seeing him for the first time and getting blown away ☺️
It sucks that he's still so underrated because he doesn't do a lot of vocal acrobatics, but like you said, everyone who listens to him for the first time is blown away because his technique is impeccable.

Onew = The most underrated SM's Leader. Well when you have a vocalist as strong as Jonghyun, as unique as Key, a rapper as hot as Minho, a dancer as beautiful as Taemin, then it's really hard to be Onew a.k.a The Leader of the group. But the truth is He just really love singing and being with Shinee's members. He doesn't need the spotlight. He always in his own world anyway. He's so precious.

You two are sooooo spot on! Onew skillfully modulated his voice to sound more youthful, softer and higher to complement Rosé’s sweet voice. Had Jinki used his more powerful, richer, fuller voice, he would have overpowered Rosé, who would have sounded almost childish in comparison.
