Nanowar of Steel is an Italian comedy heavy metal band. Their name is a pun on the metal bands Manowar and Steel Panther, and represents their tendency to satirize "true metal", the primary focus of their music.
Sabaton is a Swedish heavy metal band from Falun, Sweden. The vast majority of their albums are written about historical events, mainly wars and significant battles. Sabaton has been referred to as one of the "big four" power metal bands, along with Helloween, Blind Guardian and DragonForce.

This one has 100+ joke and references to movies, metal and discotheque songs from the 80’s and 90’s.
Agree, that it is clever.
As an example: the cited Disco Inferno with a verse from Dante’s inferno (the divine comedy), but as a good satanic metal band the verse was recited from the bottom to the top (also Pape Satan Aleppe is the verse of a demon).
But there are really too many things going on in this video.
Next one from them, if you like Iron Maiden would be: “Afraid to shoot into the eyes of a Stranger in a Strange Land”

Nanowar is a serious group, in the sense that the members, knowing the path they chose was very difficult, prepared a main work plan. The bassist has a PhD in astronomy, the guitarist studied engineering and is either an electronics or computer engineer, I don't remember which, another I believe studied design, and yet another studied music in order to teach. I chatted with Valerio Storch, the guitarist, and he told me "people don't know how much we have to study to make our music." They are absolutely fun and playful... but the bassist, for example, speaks 10 languages fluently
