  • Come in for a peaceful stroll around the Cottage garden during the Coronavirus 'lockdown'. We usually welcome visitors when we open for charity as part of the Open Garden day in our Surrey village but this year we can't. It's been strange. The garden and especially the wildlife are having a great year though! We've been busy but nature does most of it. We have had no rain during April and May but lots of sunshine. One blessing though is the complete absence of noise from road traffic and especially aircraft. It's what it must have been like a 100 years ago! This isn't edited like my other films and the only sound is the birds and the bees and the gentle breeze. If you're a musician you can play along to it! Otherwise it's just the right length for a cup of coffee and a beer. Make sure you click HD!

What a wonderful garden full of life, flowers, food and many places to sit and muse. I especially love the insect condos with a living roof. Nature is happy here.

This is the most interesting garden I’ve ever seen. Paths to meander down, ponds to visit. I’m in love.

This is a beautiful garden. What type of tree is at the end of the tour? Thankyou

Thank you! The tree with the interesting shape at the very end is a very old apple tree. I don't know the variety
