Regular super sonic already has every stat maxed out on top of supernatural abilities thanks to the emeralds such as stopping time, energy blasts, teleportation, time traveling and etc. Base sonic is faster than light so just imagine how fast his super state would be, he is also invulnerable and can't take damage. If you ask me regular super sonic beats MUI Goku. Goku deals only in strength while super sonic deals in strength AND supernatural powers so goku don't really stand a chance lol. Sonic can just touch him and warp him inside the sun then its GG. Hyper sonic is a complete wash no question. Its like adding infinity on top of infinity. MUI Goku has absolutely no chance. Hyper sonic could one shot him but remember he has supernatural abilities that's only limited by him imagination so theoretically he could do any ability there is. Imagine he touched MUI Goku and just removed all his skin from his body, this may sound brutal but the point im making is that thanks to the chaos emeralds it is canon that you can theoretically come up with any ability as long as your imagination allows it. Goku has zero chance.
We can all agree on one thing though the camera can keep up with the action also the property damage would be insane

Considering Ian Flynn was going to put Hyper Sonic for the Final Boss, but denied by Sega. But you see him in many fighting sprite battles. Sega you can keep denying Hyper Sonic, but you can’t hide the fact he still exists.

I don't care who wins. At least someone actually makes it look like Goku actually stands a chance against Sonic even when Hyper form is included and it's not just a complete stomp.
I think Sonic would probably pull out the win more often than not (he can be scaled to multiversal), though it really depends on how you scale him. Goku's got a fair chance, but he caps out as low multiversal at best from what I've seen.
But I think Goku could probably teach Sonic a few tricks and vice versa. Probably could teach him some martial arts training, while Sonic could teach Goku some more hax based abilities (via Chaos Powers).
If I had to say, Goku and Sonic would have an Iron Man-Spiderman type dynamic. With Goku being the Iron Man and Sonic being the Spiderman (and Goku and Iron Man and Sonic and Spiderman do overlap with each other quite a bit so the comparisons fit.) Goku plays an older mentor type role while also simultaneously making way and being shown how the new generation does things as Sonic plays the student, but has more potential to grow.
I love how maxo animation used sonic frontiers abilities. That's cool attention to detail.

Power and scaling wise Goku slams Sonic
Man this is awesome the xenoverse render of goku when he did the kamehameha was hilarious and ragnas theme playing so so cool

Considering the shit both Goku and Sonic pulled off....
I onestly cant say. Sonic literaly outran a blackhole when exhausted and with no boost, Goku shook reality with a punch, Sonic fucking fought Solaris who is bullshit op as its finest, Goku is definely capable of destorying a universe by this point, Sonic fought a similar reality warper who destoryed several universes while his life force was slowly draining down to half and used a form canonicly weaker than super to completly fucking wash the Bullshit Genie who was 4 out of 7 world rings. Sonic didnt even 50% darkspine. He got 40% of a form, Goku Dealt with Beerus a god who is definely capable of destorying several universes until The Angels Of Zeno steps in
However. In terms of base power sonic in bask can destroy (goku in his base) , same goes for his regular super saiyan form, ssj2 Goku is when things start to get interesting because Super Sonic is required.
Ssj3 despite its power will do jackshit againts the reality defying god busting super sonic, ssj4 is a mixed bag however only when God and Ssj Blue show up does the power scale starts to tip. However i still cant say if Goku or Blue Goku can defeat Super Sonic
MUI. A technicue of angelic origin is definely enough to defeat Super Sonic, But Hyper is a whole another story. HYPER would make Super Sonic look like a chump. Especialy when Frontiers showcased Super Sonic casualy pulling off new and more impresive tricks and feats. Hyper is caused by 7 Super Chaos Emeralds, 1 Super Chaos Emerald made Archie Sonic into basicly Himmy the Hedgehog as he had full control of over Matter, Atoms and more. Hell he was pretty much god. Especialy when a billion rings can barely match to a regular chaos emerald. Imagine 7. Imagine Hyper.
All in all. I can the fight can go in both of their favor its a mystery depending of few things such as Goku having full stamina when Activating MUI or Sonic going full power mode while in super. Or him pulling out hyper early to beat the shit out of God Goku.
Similarly Ki technicues, Chaos Powers, Speed, Streng, and Martial skills (Sonic is actualy great at combat but Goku is a master of 40 fucking years. Allmost 45) all in all. I still hold.
Then again. Im talking GAME Sonic, Spinoff Sonic, and Archie are just pretty much Greek Gods of speed all Hermes style

But sonic def bodies in most cases, his speed is classified to be imeasurable - which scales higher than infinite - he has better defense feats, better AP feats, and (in comics) more impressive enemies
Facts
Sonic completely outhaxes, outspeeds and outskills Goku
For haxes i can say that Super Sonic has invulnerability which makes him immune to conventional damage such as punches/kicks, ki blasts, hakai etc
Every attack Super Sonic does will hit Goku infinititly across all points of time (and he may or may not also hit your mind and concept)
Super Sonic can also stop time which is layered so don't even think about bringing Hit's time skip
Violet void which transforms Sonic into a black hole that warps time and space and erases anything that goes in from existence
Ring time that surrounds Sonic in a transperant aura which transforms anything it touches into rings
For strenght i can say he completly dog walked Time Eater who erased infinite timelines, beated solaries who is a super dimensional being meaning he is 5D or if you take the other meaning he transcends the concept of dimensionalities which makes him outerversal
For speed feats i don't even need to explain
Basically Game Sonic god stomps everyone in dragon ball super and dragon ball heroes and i'm not gonna talk about Hyper Sonic, much less Archie Sonic

@@sansoesqueleto2175 Dragon ball heroes obliterates game sonic by a long shot, there’s a massive gap in terms of dimensionality and cosmology. Xeno goku himself is outerversal, CC is stronger (somehow).
I wouldn’t really bring up the hyper form, given that we know very little. What we do know is that it’s apparently “faster”. But that’s it.

In base he's FAR weaker than Base Goku who has shown off 4D to 5D levels of power due to the clash with Beerus nearly destroying the Universe 7 macrocosm which in of itself houses Otherworld which is stated to transcend space and time so at most it's High 5D
Sonic on the other hand has been shown losing to robots who are at most mountain level and Super Sonic is At the very most Universal to 4D (4D is being very generous likely just Inf 3D) due to the battle with Solaris, btw that fight with Solaris is all Sonic has going for him, he is MFTL+ in speed for ste but that doesn't compare to things like Goku moving in a timeless void or a suppressed Jiren shaking an infinite void which Goku then overpowered putting him at the bare minimum Infinite Speed and at most Innacessible Speed, Sonics durability is also pretty much irrelevant compared to Gokus and while Sonic is a skilled fighter he's nothing compared to the martial arts lunatic that is Goku and Hyper Sonic has legit no feats so don't even try use it all we know is that it's probably stronger than Super
In short, while Sonic is a skilled fighter with quite a lot of power, Goku is just on another level and would be able to kill Sonic an infinite amount of times before he could even register the fight had started

I would say both of them should be around in Multiversal to Multiversal+ and I’m not quite sure for speed for either of them.
