I’m looking for a Thermal Camera to see heat and cold in horses and dogs to but must be very clear and specific for diagnostics of actual area of pain and/or dysfunction in the animal. Would this be recommended? I need to take a picture of the whole animal, and of specific areas such as a joint area. As well as video of the animal moving. Would we need to ensure specific environment to get a correct reading?
Would you prefee the p2pro or the xh09 for all around general use, indoors and outdoors? As you also have the p2pro, im curious if it’s possible to also zoom the screen on the p2? On the xh09, there the compass, speed etc displayed on the screen. Is it possible to turn these off? Magnification factor, is the xh09 zoomed in compared to p2pro? If yes, does it affect its usability around the house? Thank you
The P2 is more for indoor. and the XH09 is more for outdoor use due to its more narrow field of view. There is not really yet an all around use single model for the 256 resolution. Al tho for 384 coming soon an optical zoom version :D I will announce it on my discord when i do the video about it
Thanks for the video! The XH09 on Xinfrared website does not seem to come with the scope/picatinny mount like yours. Where can I find one that does come with it? Or where can just buy the scope/picatinny mount byitself? Does the T2 pro scope mount fit on this camera too?
@@cleanunbox yep. surely 50hz should decrease the lag as webcam mode. I'd like to see if that's true, as it would allow for better thermal fusion applications with NV devices. Definitely agree on the FOV. I have the P2 Pro also and it's a lot better for general scanning of things and exploring the world. The XH09 is very zoomed-in in comparison. But this is also its advantage, in that you can get a lot more resolution of your subject, or not have to be so close to it.

Just want to point out that your video clips from the camera are only in 30 FPS, so the actual camera looks a LOT smoother than you see in this video.
