even better than the first one! Best quality of an windsurfing-event-summery I've ever seen! Interview, behind the sceenes, action and - thanks to the commentary of Ben you've added - the excitement of the race - Thanks for your effort!
It’s so nice to see this just one day after the race. Wonderful. And congrats to you. You’ve been on top of your game. You really should get a podium on this event.
Spectacular job boys🙌 The behind the scenes interviews really add something special. I’ve been cheering for you all the way, Nico, but it warmed my heart to see those two fins win that final race❤ Exciting stuff!
Nico - in addition to congratulating you on your stellar performances I want to thank you and Lars for producing these videos. Very good, very professional, well scripted, superbly edited; truly enjoyable, thank you & hang loose!🤙
Awesome video Nico, I love this format! The only comment I would make is when you are interviewing fellow riders please include their name and sail number if possible for people like me who don't know everyone already! Doesn't have to be every time they appear in a video, maybe just the first time. Edit: ok I didn't see part one first. Thanks!
I will for the third if I have the time! In the first one I could but with 4 eliminations I just had to cut some things off sorry mate 🤙🏻 but everyone who is in talking is linked in the description
It's so nice to watch fins fighting vs foils. We can see the différent techniques it means when jibing or sailing straight. Thank you Nico and your crew
Loving these updates. As someone who is getting back into windsurfing after a 30 yr absence its really exhilarating to see the races and all the new gear.
Another great video. The drone adds so much to slalom racing; makes it so much more enjoyable. The launch looks like the sketchiest part of the race. Smooth rocks with moss & big shore break, looked very dangerous. If you had any real Pozo wind I wonder if it would have even been possible to launch or recover a foil, even with help?
„two guys on proper windsurfing equipment“😂 imho you guys and girls are delivering the most spectacular slalom racing we‘ve seen for a long time, no matter what, including epic footage and media placement. thanks for bringing this to us🤙🏼💪🔥
These videos are awesome! Does Lars get any sleep at all? A massive congratulations on your results Nico!😍 Loving watching how fast you can go on the foil. I have been windsurfing since 1975 and foiling for the last 3 years, so great seeing how the sport is evolving.
Congrats to the quality of your videos, to the drone pilot and your comments. thks a lot to bring us such beatiful windsurf filming ! i can't wait to go back to the water !👋
Great video and incredible footage! As a windsurfer I feel spoiled by the quality, better than any previous coverage of our sport. I am not sure why people are so sensitive about foils or fins. Competition is always about being on the edge of technological advancement, and you have to move with your times. I think this is actually very exciting, and at the scale of our beloved sport, it's pretty historical. That sure makes for some serious entertainment! These races kept me at the edge of my seat.
Great insight into the process! Nasty launch! Any chance they could install temporary moorings outside the shorebreak so you could bring out rig and board separately?
Another sick edit !!!! Music match is 👍, really like the “behind the race” footage. Preparations,,… and big respect 🫡 on you guys getting through the chop ….🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Real great formate! Would be awesome to have such quick reviews for every event you are participating in. I really like the scenes between the races because you can see and feel the athmosphere of the event. Thank you Lars for your hard work editing all the stuff! And for you Nico i really wish you to win a Final tomorrow! 🤙🤙🤙
Amazing performance Nico, congrats!! It's been so much fun watching the PWA drone footage up close in these conditions. Looks really tough out there. All the best.
Thanks for the excellent quality video. Curious on the swell size at the outside marks? They look big enough to stuff a fin jibe if your timing or decision is off. The finish area looks a bit sketchy for foilers at lower tide. Fin v. Foil. Either. The mix adds to the racing.
Nico!
OMG, what a great day and we can watch the highlights of the day due to your videos. You guys are working hard on the water and in the studio. I appreciate it and eagerly waiting for the next racing day. 😎🤙
I really like your confidence and mental strength! Amazing athlet! Thank you and Lars for such great videos. I really hope to get the chance to see you in Kornwerderzand one day! (Missed you the other day)
Another great video and great results! If Mr WindsurfingTV wants real slalom we should bring back the beach start - that was epic! 😆 I think it's really cool to see fin versus foil and as long as the racing is good I don't mind who wins. I think it's good that the PWA is leaving it to the sailors to decide and not regulate it. It's the only way the sport is going to continue to develop.
Wow Nico, this kind of videos should be on extreme sport tv channels too!! ❤ Love you athletes sharing sensations during the race and being polite even in case of accidental damage. Super!!
nice video, Is it common to wear ear protection when slalom foiling? Somebody talked to me about it but i don’t know if its true 😅 Or are the Headphones just for a better starting position and you have a timer on there or something?
I’m a huge fan of slalom foil, but i also understand people saying « we want fin races, like the good old time ». I trully don’t get why they didn’t try to make separated categories or just separated events for foils and fins. I imagine that sometimes, foil allows some sessions that wouldn’t be possible with fins in light wind, so if they plan a fin event and there’s only enough wind for foils, that would be disappointing, but i’m sure a solution would be possible to find in my opinion. Maybe it’s just too much organisation and i’m too naive to imagine such a thing.
The foil opens up the wind minimums for an event and provides incredible racing action. In very strong winds, fins can be faster, but it depends on the skill of the rider. I have windsurfed with a fin for over 30 years, and foiled the last 5. I really only use the fin now if I am on a 4.7 sail or smaller.
Watching this video was like watching a different race than the PWA World Tour. For example, here it showed a foiler, Manciek??, crashing into the gybe mark. Great perspective into what's going on
Sweet Kit! Nico, what JP board did you have on the water today? Width and what sail range do you recomned with that board? Do you use a widder board for lighter wind bigger foil sail races? Thanks!
I have never used a foil. However, it looks like the fins where able to get out in front in heavy wind because (in my opinion) it just looks easier, so less fear of making mistakes, and easier to recover from mistakes, lets them really poor it on, and stay more aggressive. Also, congratulations on first in foils in that last race.
Great you giving us an inside look on pwa slalom racing. I'm loving it to see the fin is still alive 🎉😂 Credits to Lars for getting it online this quick 👏👏
Would you mind putting the graphics a bit higher up? I'm watching on my phone zoomed in, so the top and bottom of the video is cropped. The screen is 16:10
Another good day Nico. How close were you to changing to the fin today. It looked like a lot of the foils were far less comfortable with that level of wind.
Is there a specific reason why the foil jibes need so much bigger radius we can see in this video? Or will this also evolve with time with more hard training to match the small possible radius with fins?
Super cool to see the fin and foil fighting so hard for first place. Could you explain how those eliminations work, apparently there are a lot of them on all days. Very much looking forward to the next update.
even better than the first one! Best quality of an windsurfing-event-summery I've ever seen! Interview, behind the sceenes, action and - thanks to the commentary of Ben you've added - the excitement of the race - Thanks for your effort!
I love when you admit that have damaged the sail of your colleague and had to repair it. Nice to see this little details in a race day.
🤟😎
It’s so nice to see this just one day after the race. Wonderful. And congrats to you. You’ve been on top of your game. You really should get a podium on this event.
Spectacular job boys🙌 The behind the scenes interviews really add something special. I’ve been cheering for you all the way, Nico, but it warmed my heart to see those two fins win that final race❤ Exciting stuff!
Sick that the fin still can win! Hope for more wind today
Na ja, wenn man bei 30 Knoten 6,8 fährt…
Another amazing part...plz, keep on..Drone footage on different level.. Amazing..thxx
Fabulous video, fin vs foil the debate is still hot. Believe the big chop helps the foil over the fin a lot! You rock Nico!
Danke, freue mich auf Teil 3 mit hoffentlich weiterhin so guten Ergebnissen
Nico - in addition to congratulating you on your stellar performances I want to thank you and Lars for producing these videos. Very good, very professional, well scripted, superbly edited; truly enjoyable, thank you & hang loose!🤙

Great video Nico and Lars! So nice to see racing and comment from within the race. Keep up the good work, Lars doing an epic job editing 👊🏻
Awesome video Nico, I love this format! The only comment I would make is when you are interviewing fellow riders please include their name and sail number if possible for people like me who don't know everyone already! Doesn't have to be every time they appear in a video, maybe just the first time.

I will for the third if I have the time! In the first one I could but with 4 eliminations I just had to cut some things off sorry mate 🤙🏻 but everyone who is in talking is linked in the description
Love the inside perspective of the competitors. Glad to see you doing so well Nico. It has been awesome racing to watch.
It's so nice to watch fins fighting vs foils. We can see the différent techniques it means when jibing or sailing straight.
Thank you Nico and your crew
I like that the foil gives me 10+ times on the water vs. the fin. I like how smooth the ride is and how fast it is in light winds.
Excellent editing and great storyline along with a fascinating variety of angles. Thank you for this high quality production!
Loving these updates. As someone who is getting back into windsurfing after a 30 yr absence its really exhilarating to see the races and all the new gear.
The daily updates are great! I always find it super sketchy carrying my board over small rocks, can't imagine having that extra shore break 👀
Exciting race. Had the feeling that fins could make a tighter jibe and foils could use the higher end speed on straight lines.
Wahnsinn!! echt ein spannendes Rennen. Egal Fin vs Foil Hauptsache spannend! Well done, Nico! Und krass wie Jordy den Sieg einfuhr.
What an amazing video. Its nice to see the ditect compare between foil and fin.
Thanks for youre work🤙🏽🫶🏽

Always nice to see the races, especially of this type, gg Nico!
Always enjoy your content and perspective, great job.
Nice to see the fins out there doing their thing 🤙🏻
„two guys on proper windsurfing equipment“😂 imho you guys and girls are delivering the most spectacular slalom racing we‘ve seen for a long time, no matter what, including epic footage and media placement. thanks for bringing this to us🤙🏼💪🔥
Awesome job man 🤙 you've come a long way since we saw your first windfoil video 💪
Amazing updata again Nico!! Love the fight between the Fins and the Foils ;)
Junge krasse action! Man hat das Gefühl live dabei zu sein.
Hatte sogar Adrenalin nur vom zuschauen 😄😄
Mach(t) weiter so 😁
These videos are awesome! Does Lars get any sleep at all?
A massive congratulations on your results Nico!😍
Loving watching how fast you can go on the foil. I have been windsurfing since 1975 and foiling for the last 3 years, so great seeing how the sport is evolving.
Amazing production !!!! Thank you so much ! Incredible racing and congratulations for such a strong performance !! Kudos !!
Great summary of the event. I would like to see more of that. I would even watch complete races you compete in. Keep up the good work, Nico 👍
Congrats to the quality of your videos, to the drone pilot and your comments. thks a lot to bring us such beatiful windsurf filming ! i can't wait to go back to the water !👋

It is always a pleasure to see the acceleration of the guys on the fin after a gybe 🚀🚀🚀
Great daily updates, love the rider chats along with all the action on the water.
Great insight into the process! Nasty launch! Any chance they could install temporary moorings outside the shorebreak so you could bring out rig and board separately?
thanks for the edit, keep doing them they're really amazing
Another sick edit !!!! Music match is 👍, really like the “behind the race” footage. Preparations,,… and big respect 🫡 on you guys getting through the chop ….🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Hey Nico,
Wollt einfach nur danke für den Contest sagen und das du immer das Gefühl vermittelst selber auf dem Board gerade zu stehen.
Real great formate! Would be awesome to have such quick reviews for every event you are participating in. Wow, the chop and conditions make for some spectacular footage. Great sailing, great editing.
Die Clips sind echt hammergeil!! Genau das hatte bislang gefehlt!
Amazing performance Nico, congrats!! It's been so much fun watching the PWA drone footage up close in these conditions. Looks really tough out there. All the best.
Excelente video. Pensé que en viento fuerte dominaría la aleta sobre el foil, pero al ver éste video cambio de opinión sobre el foil.
You did it, 0.7 yes. Can't wait until part 3. Congratulations
Epic. Some of the best racing footage we've seen in a long time, if ever. Keep it up guys!
Keep up the daily updates! I love watching the races and getting your feedback!
One of your best racevideos Nico and Lars. looking forward to see more stuff like this.
Nice piece of work these videos also the interviews etc kudos to Lars and Nico great having you back in the front 🎉

What a day!!! Love the videos and really good representation of the day! I was there watching it live🎉
Truly incredible that you're continuing to get these same-day edits out!

Good fun to see the battle!
Amazing Foil vs FIN video, Thank You very much for the action packed episode.
Great action, thanks! Can you share what ear buds you use, and let me guess, your playlist includes Awol Nation, Sail...?
Great and consistent results for you Nico, seems that all the training and preparations have paid off - well done
Another great video and great results! If Mr WindsurfingTV wants real slalom we should bring back the beach start - that was epic! 😆

Great report and insights on and off the race course! Thank you Nico and crew!
Wow Nico, this kind of videos should be on extreme sport tv channels too!! ❤ Love you athletes sharing sensations during the race and being polite even in case of accidental damage. Super!!
one of the most intense and exciting videos thx for the effort and for bringing us the action home
nice video, Is it common to wear ear protection when slalom foiling? Somebody talked to me about it but i don’t know if its true 😅 Or are the Headphones just for a better starting position and you have a timer on there or something?
Fantastic racing and love the video. Keep them coming!
thank you Nico for reporting us this wonderful show. Happy for your podium
Great coverage - please keep it going
Love to see the Fin is coming back

Sweet Kit!
Nico, what JP board did you have on the water today? Width and what sail range do you recomned with that board?
Do you use a widder board for lighter wind bigger foil sail races?
Thanks!
Congrats to the result 🤙
This is the action i want to see! Love the racing insights!
Thank you Lars! For the great filming and editing everyday!❤

Keep it up! Great work!!
Super geil - Gänsehaut - richtig spannende Action zum mitfiebern ❤👍💪
Thank you for the daily update and Lars‘ hard work!
good choice for foil in all races except last one. well done, Nico, good results! keep the good content coming!
Was the damaged sail used during one of the races? Maybe you can produce some videos about quick-repairs / first-aid. Thank You for videos.
Great racing and fantastic footage. Thanks a lot!
This review of the race is awesome !!! thank you Nico!!! very good your performance !
Great you giving us an inside look on pwa slalom racing. I'm loving it to see the fin is still alive 🎉😂
Credits to Lars for getting it online this quick 👏👏
Kompliment, wirklich coole Berichterstattung aus Pozo - macht richtig Bock zu gucken!!!

Awesome footage Nico - keep it coming the quality is great - as always 🙏🏻🤙🏼
What did you use to repair the sail ?
Awesome effort Nico - amazing sailing and reporting!
Espectacular lo que vimos, hicieron historia entre esta lucha de foil o fin. Excelente resumen en este video Gracias Nico. Saludos desde Argentina.
Nice video
Good luck and fun for the last day
Great content. Keep it up. Such a high level of competence.
Go Nico.
Another good day Nico. How close were you to changing to the fin today. It looked like a lot of the foils were far less comfortable with that level of wind.

Awesome videos! Thanks for the super timely video updates. Love the content- keep it up
Loved the video! Finally some fin action
Super cool to see the fin and foil fighting so hard for first place.
Could you explain how those eliminations work, apparently there are a lot of them on all days.
Very much looking forward to the next update.
