Gear Chronicle genuinely makes me mad. I fucking hate the clan and the blatantly unfair bullshit that Bushiroad keeps shoveling into the clan.
Finally gallop getting what it deserves, adding power on either turn is insane for defense and offense.

Surprise no mention of Regalia. I was pretty sure it won a VGCS in Indonesia from what I recall.
I don't know what to think of Regalia. It's hyper consistent, but doesn't seem to be great at any specific thing.
It has about as many tops as Altmile and I don't know if it's purely because of nostalgia+variance

Luard more often than not dies to messiah, integral or not... (I do speak from experience, having tested messiah on TCO against the new luard support) Most of the time my opponent still has their front row locked on my first stride, and rage-quits as soon as trans-else hits the field.

From someone that's played Dominate since its came out in the states, I do think that Nubatama are absolutely disgusting post-GBT14 but I wouldn't say its BDIF. Gyze Nociel is kinda awkward to place simply because of how RNG it is, But I would say its definitely something to know how to play against it because if you dont youre going to have a terrible time. Scharharot is really good, Id say its above ZTB but below Nuba's, simply because you can get a massive hand by first stride by spamming Weretiger Jaeger with Balaam's extra drive as well. I haven't played against ZTB/Luard enough to tell which is better, Brave is also in a good spot BC they have such an amazing g2 game that I have either murdered them without striding or i pushed them to 5 and dropped Fides on them. Chaos and Deletors are definitely a viable contender post GBT14. Victor and Messiahs will pop-up here and there but won't be as prominent as they were before. So basically there really isn't a BDIF out of these, But if I had to pick a top 5 decks Id probably Go with Dominate, Darkness, Brave, Chaos, and Gyze Nociel in no particular order. Also Solemn Senpai notice me pls
Why no ztb in top 5?
Christopher Matthew ZTB are #6, simply because while it may have a better Chaos matchup vs everything else in top 5, ZTB is even or has a difficult time with everything else. Everything outside of DI can kill ZTB before Heritage and Gearnext even become a threat. DI can get the hand to survive the Gearnext turn and murder you with Balaam/Bleddermousse. Im not saying its impossible for ZTB to beat these decks, its the fact that these decks for the most part are just faster/outgrind/counter everything else
So between Altmile, Victor, and Grandgallop what would do better at locals? Only one person plays Link Joker Chaos Breaker, alot of Kagero, and a decent variety of all the other clans.

When it comes to the tier list and power creep that has been going on, why does it seem like it's (gradually) discouraging people from playing at locals who aren't able to play those top decks?
It's what I've been going through and hard to play outside of "super-casual" level.
I've been getting vibes at my locals were I felt pressured to use a build/clan solely to be on-par against other people; despite the others being able to still enjoy themselves.
I feel so frustrated and left out... :'c

Altmile is good. Really stupid good, even against some of the top decks you've mentioned. Its just that it gets crapped all over by the Chaos match up. Your best bet in tournaments is just to pray to the Vanguard gods you don't face Chaos or if you do, you get the right pieces to rush and kill 1st stride.
Daniel Victor Thanks for this you inspired me to run Altmile! I've been wanting to build a deck but haven't cuz Link makes it no fun. But if I only have one bad matchup I can deal with that.

I mean messiah is still one of the better deck in the meta. I see alot allot of decks topping in the U.S. nubatama victor and dark irregulars can't really touch how fast messiah can run now it's so much better than chaos

Lol nubatama can be countered with kagero just run 3 copies of a any restraint and 4 copies of dragon knight roia I think any deck can counter nubatama if they those units which go to bind zone and can call ed to gc for first stride rinne call out ur guards then atk won't go through for second if u can have atleast 1 unit with restraint ull survive
the last shot fired actually the ruling came out for rinne even if you call resist units at the time you chose them from hand to call the player already gets to dominate them since once they hit board and would have resist the dominate all called cards becomes a global effect and resist units don't have resist in the hand
Lance Kidder I didn't say resist I said restraint check restraint means it cannot attack check genie soldat in kagero also if u get first stride kagero and get to a drachma u will fk up rinne and gg u win don't worry abt defensie if u run roia or call genie soldat its basically a foolproof win

Same and mine has ARG winners as well as people who went to ARG nationals and the winner of an ARG nationals. Even people who topped bushiroad events. I 2-0'd all my match ups. Jet, Brave, Luard, and then DI.

Not that tricky as long as you don't do the bad thing (soulcharge regardless of context because you only need 15 to do your things and most of your best tricks need less). You just need to kiss like 10-15 soul to use your guard restricters, drop Dust, then win. Then cake.

Any sort of clan that requires multi-attacking, particularly if they do so via calling tend to be unforgiving towards misplays. So Spike Brothers, Magia Pale Moon, Hollow Granblue (special shout out as you have to search your pieces and THEN start calling), Brave Royal Paladin, the works.
got any good builds/tips for spike brother i haven't really updated my crazy 8's i am missing the dudley heals/jelly beans and would like more information on this dust combo i have an idea of how it goes but is there any way to abusive the cc besides fake bomber to really push on that dust turn? i haven't touch my rising deck in a long time and kinda feel behind but it good to see some frame for the spike brother clan

You can just use Minerva 4 times in a row which requires her to be pg'd each time since she attacks for large numbers. She is fine against Chaos.
Also it won a VGCS in Indonesia so the deck is doing well.

Dark irregulars is capable of countering rinne. They have their g2 11k to counter dominate using restraint.
do anyone bring them in their deckbuilding if supposedly everyone is being highly competitive? i think not
theo doric Yea I fought this one guy. He ran 4/3 of those g2 and 3 of those g3 with restraint. He won that game.

You can counter Rinne incredibly simply, not with all decks but with some out there. Just guard everything early with your spare g0/g1 and call everything else to rush. When they get to stride they will use their on-stride domination skill to attack you once. Just drop all your remaining hand for that attack and Rinne becomes a useless card that can only swing for 26k. If you can get to stride next turn, you may win it since opponent is already high on dmg.
well if you dropped one hand it is completely reliant on the top deck if you get strider or not not to mention when you guard the first domination attack you dropped ALL OF YOUR HAND if i call a rearguard and attack with rinne you will become VULNERABLE as you drop all hand to guard a simple 11k attack with no guard restriction this will put you in a tight spot as you CANT GUARD any of my attacks.
also i would like you to use that TECHNIQUE against me and see ^_^
Thats the whole reason you rush and drop g2 that you can intercept the small attacks with. I mentioned it doesnt work with every deck but it works extremely well with decks that have superior guardian and/or free striding. You are supposed to eat all the dmg on that turn, but you are not punished for going full ham because the opponent strode a useless card. Ofc mindgames are still in and more experienced players could adapt but I dont think the deck can be called more OP than the unguardable Darkness attacks and the Riviere attacks from the next set.

Nociel gyze isn't meta it has TWO recorded tops both of which being in teams so there isn't anything that warrants say the deck is "meta"

Vanguard meta is jumping on the hype train with whatever's new. Regardless of how good it actually is. That's how it works.
not really. Time leap/sanc guard is a meta for years. Back in season 2, majesty/the end/tsukuyomi is meta until break ride comes
Truth be told it's not the hype that makes the meta when we had the heavy nuba meta before at the time of dominate the release they were just strong
