Just returned from 4 days in Vienna. It's a MUST travel. It's relaxing, calming, effortlessly pleasant, and so easy to get around. I mastered the train system in a day. Beauty everywhere you look.
🎶 Oh, Vienna 🎶 beautiful looking Cathedral and green spaces definitely worth visiting on a bike! My kids would love staying at The Student Hotel too 😃 Thanks Charlotte and Cory for taking the time to produce these vlogs 🙌❤️
Hi Tracy! Yes it’s a beautiful city 😊 with a lot of green, you’re right! The student hotel has locations in a lot of the major cities around Europe, tell the kids to keep an eye out for their next holiday 😉 thanks for your lovely comment ❤️🙏🏼

Hello, guys! 6:01 This isn't the Danube River (main stream) but the Donaukanal (Danube Canal), a former arm of the Danube, now regulated as a narrow water channel (since 1598). It is over 17 kilometres long and, unlike the Danube itself, it borders the city centre. It branches off the Danube in the northern part of Vienna and flows back in again in the southeastern part. Together with the Danube it encloses Vienna's 2nd and 20th district. Best regards from Vienna! 🙂
We were in Vienna at the same time as you and found it to be a beautiful city. If you ever go back I would recommend the Danube Tower experience 360 degree views of Austria with a turning cafe it was stunning
Oh awesome! We did check it out on Google maps but didn’t make it over there. Definitely saving it for next time though 😉 thanks for the recommendation ❤️🙏🏼
Brett. You are very VERY observant! We had an audio issue during the first section of this vlog so had to re record some of the audio when we were editing! 😳 I’m very impressed you picked up on it! 🙌🏼
0:38 A 2h tour for ALL the main sights of the city? Ehm...no! Just...no! 1:20 Alright, first of all we will never know how many people were in the cellar - In those days all the shelters were open to the public ergo anyone walking the streets nearby would have run into it...the number is probably in the higher hundreds. They removed the rubble up to street-level and found 150 bodies (so from the higher stores of the building - those were the people that didnt make it into the cellar). The official count at the time of the apartment building was around 450, but those numbers werent reliable in 1945 anymore. 3:3011:1014:55 You are in a unique location for the first and probably last time in your life and you pick something to eat you may get at any fast-food place around the globe? Next time, try something like Augustinerkeller or Griechenbeisl. Enbrace the culture for what little time you have for it. 6:05 Thats NOT the Danube my dear, thats an artificial channel they built centuries ago for the merchant ships. The Danube is aprox 50 times as big. 8:50 Its one of the many parks in the city, nowhere near the largest. 9:50 Not really, its actually quite successful. 10:05 Ehm...its not famous for THAT....its the Hofburg, the 2nd largest imperial palace on the planet, main seat of power for Central Europe for centuries. btw Hitler did his speech there in 1938, 17 months before the start of the war. I wouldnt call it the first victim - but thats a discussion for a different comment, this one is getting too long already^^ 10:40 There is no such thing a "european" style - its a continent with 50 countries and far more cultural entities. 13:10 You didnt have anything resembling a coffe in that menu list. Sooo....where are the rest of sights? Im not talking about museums or secret locations - I mean main top sights...you have been missing like 90% of them.
Wow! Thanks for taking the time to watch our whole video! And thanks for sharing all of your knowledge on the topics we covered 😊 we loved Vienna, and we’d love to come back one day. We really didn’t see enough of it!

My beautiful City. Everyday is a vacation.

Can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong, but the audio is weird. Feels like voiceover when she's talking on a crowded, windy street.
