As I am reaching the age of 90 I still love learning about history of our Old West. Soon I too will be only history... 👍🇺🇸

I had a experience with St Elmo Colorado ghost town when my brothers car broke down and we stayed in a 200 year old log cabin guest cabin and we drank beer with the owners from Kansas and the next morning 17ft of snow and we had a woodburning stove going and digging out from the back door. The owner gave us a ride with his snowmobile 20 miles to use the phone. I wanted to live there after the experience of staying in the ghost town of St. Elmo.....I wanted to ask you if you can live in this ghost town today. Does anyone else live there now days. Thank you

Bannack is a state park and only resident rangers and park staff live there. There is camping in the bottoms near by.

You also could have mentioned that Bannock Montana has been a movie location as well.
Bill Pullman's "Lefty Brown." And Chris Hofferts " Big Muddy Western series " was filmed in Bannock.
I played a drinking Man at the bar pictured in this video. Even though I Personally don't ever drink.
Best Wishes to all from Montana! M.H
