ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I keep coming back to listen to this over and over.... Lila is mesmerizing
I can't stop listening to Lila. It's clear that she is on her way to great success after the VOICE. When the coaches were blown away by Lila's tone I had many superstars going through my memory that she reminded me of: Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Christine McVie, Tracy Chapman, and perhaps Eva Cassidy. I am excited for Lila's future and have already purchased her music. I'm a big fan.
I have Birdy (a mezzosoprano with a great agile head voice falsetto)- saw her live- Skinny Love would suit her voice greatly/Alisson Moyet (her deep creamy notes)/ minimal Florence Welch as well ( I saw her live), some 1950s traditional popjazz artists as well- she could have taken part in the ed sullivan show, when born some decades earlier- she studied jazz singing

Was so sad that Noah, Alexa and Lennon had to go but Lila came to lift my spirits up!!!!! Thank you Lila you were amazing!!!!!!

@@elijahwilliams5294definitely better than Bias who shouldn’t have even got a turn at the blinds. I’ve honestly never heard a worse voice in all seasons than Bias’s. It makes no sense why Gwen keeps picking him.
she is someone who doesn't belt these high notes but her style and tone really makes you feel the songs she's singing.
i just hope she goes far in this competition (even win) because most of the time folk singers don't do well in votes.
But they are often the one everyone adores and listen to

I can't stop listening to this. Lila has an amazing ability to make a song her own, and what a job she does! Her voice is hypnotically beautiful, and she's drop dead gorgeous to boot. Now that is a complete package.
I have viewed many contestants on the voice both here in Australia and U.S. and Lila stands alone. The complete package being a pianist as well as sings with fantastic flair that makes her such a winner every time.
She fits right into the Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Laufey - esque line, I would actually have her on Spotify wrapped fs

me too! not necessarily do i think she should have won, the competition was strong, (like mara J) but this was hands down the best performance of the season.

She absolutely loves to perform and it shows. She draws you into each performance with her voice and her excitement. Sometimes that excitement spills over and she gives that big 'ole smile while singing. Definitely my favorite this season! Best wishes!
Her voice is so unique and compelling, I love it! She doesn't oversing or belt too much, and just does her thing freely. The relaxation and simplicity itself is so beautiful. Every note was perfectly executed, totally organic and flawless. I want her to win ❤

When Lila sings I really just want to go out onto my deck with a cigar and a glass of whiskey. I could listen to her sing all night. she has such a smooth and beautiful tone to her voice.

The best this season. Her tone, her choices of registers, vowels, runs, riffs - just very distinctive and natural. She has flow, she's quirky, sexy, playful - all shines through in her performances. And she's very likable as well, which I predict will get her far.

I have to listen to her voice everyday
Lila continues to give outstanding performances. There’s something so subtle and beautiful about her. When she goes into her higher crescendo, it is just as powerful as when she sings softly in her lower register. Her tone always keeps me at the edge of my seat, and keeps me wanting to hear her sing an album. I definitely see her in the finale. There’s no one in the competition like her; she’s in her own lane. She is a gem on John’s team. She is so special!
Side note: I so hope that Lila sings “How Do You” sometime during the lives. I heard her sing it in the cabin, and it nearly brought me to tears. She will give you a chill or two on some, or if not, most of her performances. There are so many pleasant adjectives I could give her every time she gets on the stage. I’m rooting for her big time! You go girl!

When I tell people I can't stand when people over-do runs in songs, and y'all get ticked off? THIS is NOT what I mean. I always say there's a time, a place, and even a song, when runs belong. THIS is one of those. They're NOT "vocal gymnastics". These are soft runs, that flow with the song, and are actually a PART of her telling the story.
