  • @Makeitordont
    @Makeitordont Год назад +24

    Your brother continued to have kids knowing him nor the girl were stable. That's crazy. Your brother literally should be thanking God he has you there for his daughter,so many kids end up in the system due to the selfish negligence of adults.
    Social services have crazy high expectations cause some kids are crammed in a 1 bedroom with 6 siblings BUT Kin or not at least there doing there job to ensure these kids dont end up in more traumatic places, cause all the trauma you were going through with your ex husband its essential they did that to ensure your mental health is ok too. Make sure you definitely get time to breathe and relax, becoming a mother over night to a toddler and child that you didnt create its going to eat years and years of your life so prepare for knowing it will not always be highs there gonna be low lows, when your niece is growing up God forbid shes gonna see all these videos and have her own mind and might go back to the parents. Its a lonnnnng road ahead. May God Guide you well. Be mindful what you share on the internet, not everyone has a good eye or ear. Definitely think about therapy of some kind... alot of predators out there that will swoop in like they want you but really looking at ur child. Be very aware of people coming into your life.

    I'm so proud of you and happy for you and Aaliyah! I was raised by my amazing great auntie and I never felt different. She made sure it was normal for me so you have the right idea! I know when Aaliyah is old enough to express her feelings she's gonna be so proud you were the one to look after her! S/n I called my Aunt, Aunt Dolly, Ma, Mommy, and Auntie Ma up until her passing. She never corrected me and didnt allow anyone else to. As small as that may seem I think it heavily contributed to the normalcy that we had in our household. BIG UP AUNTIE MA DAINA, WELL DONE!

    Quickly, removed 1 of 7 kids..not for legal reasons. My mother divorced my dad, I was 6 weeks old. She went to live with my Aunt and Uncle. They weren’t able to have children. After 6 months, my mom got back on her feet. They offered to keep me and well…the rest is history. Regretted not being able to call my Aunt my Mom or Mommy. Hated not being included MORE with the other siblings. At 56yo, I have always felt different. I don’t have any harsh feelings for anyone involved. I have moved passed most of it. You are nailing it girlie. Blessings to you!

    I’m sure it was super painful making the decision to pull out of taking care of Aaliyah’s sister as well but you had to put yourself first as well, and I’m glad you did🤍 praying her sister gets the best love and care

    My Grandma became my SG when I was 13 she literally save my life. We were lucky to have some amazing social workers that were very informative; there are a lot of things a LAC is entitled to that are not often public knowledge. I commend you for everything your doing for Aaliyah ❤

    Hearing her call you mama is so sweet❤ honestly you are so strong and that baby girl is so blessed to have such an amazing family and aunty such as yourself.. what you did for her and her future is something she will thank you for for her entire lifetime and it is something you will never look back and regret doing. The world needs more humans like you in it. I commend you, I have 2 children of my own and some days I’m like omg I just wanna run away! So for u to step up to the plate for children you didn’t even create or birth and show up every day even when u don’t have too- and even on the days the baby is driving you mad.. is beautiful. Being a caretaker ( a good dependable one) is the hardest job in the world.

    Beautiful storytime❤ I share the same experience with my grandson. These types of experiences turn metal into gold - they helped me find myself, and I'm grateful. Life is now full, and not because of the things but because of the Source of life within me dissolved the sense of lack, fear, hurt, and worry. If you ever need someone to talk to- I've been through a lot also with relationships- and I'm thankful for each opportunity to grow (that is what suffering does) but I would love to lend a listening ear- and loving advice if ever you need sister.

    I can just imagine how stressful it was having social services in your business - but the truth is common sense isnt common and people really are mentally redundant and flat out stupid, those people NEED to be told and shown how to take care of a child regardless whether their intentions are pure, theres parents out here putting tattoos on their kids and giving them alcohol yet, love their kids and give them everything, so even as abrupt, inconvenient, time wasting and intrusive as social are they are also vey much needed bt like this situation, it was just for a time

    I remember the first time you showed her as a tiny newborn baby and you were so in love with her. Your brother was playing a video game and holding her later in that video and I remember thinking you going to have to step up and help them. He just looked so young holding her and the controller playing a video game.
