OOPS! I Accidently Drew Perspective!

- In This video I start by drawing an updated character sheet of an old OC named Maggy, but when I went to draw a small illustration of her I ended up having to dive head first into learning perspective! It's one of the hardest drawings i've ever done but i'm really proud of how it turned out!

I'm glad you guys got to meet another new/ old original character of mine! I really love bringing these characters back to life. It's also been a great way to see how much progress i've made!

You are absolutely right!
Character designs are the hardest thing for me to do. So looking at you making great characters that have so much personality on the spot it's amazing
I promise you it takes me a long time to think of character stuff. This character in particular is probably about 8-10 years old so I've had lots of time to think about her. You can do it too. The longer you have a Character the more they grow and change with you. You learn more about them as you draw them and put them into different scenarios

So, recently I've been designing my own Pokemon (fakemon), and it's been really fun and helped me go out of my comfort zone and try new things. I'd love to see you design some fakemon, maybe starters + their evolutions or even regional variants of your favorite Pokemon. I hope you consider it.

Oooo! I love fakemon and fake region stuff! I would love doing something like that! The closest I've come to it was fusing pokemon and also trying to do a drawing prediction on what hisuian arcanine would look like. But I would LOVE to try fakemon too! Thanks for the great suggestion!
This truly is a masterpiece. When you've bled your skill and patience dry and still manage to overcome the once-seeming impossible boundary in one drawing, then its a tale to be told in an image so bold. That's museum material!

This is so relatable. I also struggle with perspective. I haven't tried it yet but I'm about to start.
It can be really challenging! But there are some great tutorials on youtube especially if you're just getting started! Good luck!
Perfect timing! I’ve been spending the afternoon figuring out three point perspective. I had a similar experience too. I just wanted to draw my oc in a cool location, then I ended up doing a full study.
It happens to us all! Sometimes I just want to draw the thing in my head but it can get so complicated sometimes! I hope your perspective drawing turned out well!

You are SO sweet! it took me so much time to get to this point. Hours with this drawing plus years of struggling with perspective. I'm not even sure I can pull it off successfully again! Hopefully we can both get there
Cute baker, even her colors give a sense of "fiery attitude" at a glance. Would she interact with your other OCs in any way?
The advice about expanding your canvas to set your perspective points looks super solid after seeing it in action, definitely going to take a crack at that.
As for the end video questions.
Drawing anything ambitious? All the time whenever I do anything beyond a basic doodle.
What do I do? I either grit my teeth an pull through within the week/weekend or I put it off indefinitely.

First of all, awesome character and amazing drawing.
Second, it's true that drawing perspective can easily end up looking cursed or it may look right but it's not the perspective you wanted. And with my limited experience, the only way I can suggest to practice perspective is repetition.
My early drawings look CURSED in terms of perspective. Flat surfaces that look curved, objects that are squeezed, the list goes on. But with a bit of practice, you can get it looking natural. You're an amazing artist, you can definitely draw perfect perspecitve if you want to!

I am also working on a STUPID, DING DONG PERSPECTIVE PIECE i really love doing things from lower angles looking up at the character but they will forever be my downfall. your piece turned out so good though!! i find it hard to fill scenes out but yours came out so naturally and even though alot of the colours are bright they dont particularly stand out and they just mesh with this so wellllll!! 100000000/10
