There is no lie here. Much like X changed it for Apple. Note 10 is literally why we are here. It's the same just different. Minor tweaks if you ask me. The only reason I jumped is because I was on S21 U and I needed my pen in my phone. Did I need to upgrade, no. Worth it for me, yes!
My s10+ has lasted all three of these years. Trust. Just upgraded to the s22 Ultra but the phone was kicking good. No lag. Screen great and was basically my best friend during pandemic.
I just upgraded from the Note 10+ to the 22 Ultra, it was been a really comfortable switch. But I agree, there isn't a massive difference in general use. I still find myself picking up my Note10+ when I charge my 22 Ultra.
I have a choice to make...I bought Note 10 plus w/256 SD card (512 total storage), case & screen protector for $400 but have pre- ordered the S22 Ultra 512 w/Watch 4 for $310 using trade in discounts. Keep what I have or trade up?
I'm still rocking my Note 10 plus 512gb for 3 years now, and I don't think I need to upgrade to S22 Ultra, cause they just look the same, and the only cons of S22 Ultra for me is there is no SD card slot that my Note 10 plus offers. The pros of the S22 Ultra for me is the color options and the 100x zoom capability.
I just recently upgraded from the note 10+ to the s22 ultra . The speakers are slightly louder on the note 10+. The only two major upgrades are the camera and the 120 refresh rate which is noticeable right away. If you don't care about either of those things.. stick with the note 10+.
Those two upgrades aren't big enough for me. Plus I consider the note 10 plus a authentic note a the s22 ultra is a hybrid. Eventhough I hear it's overall a good phone. But I'm loyal and I can wait a little longer.
Although the S22 Ultra has definitely piqued my interest, I absolutely love my Note 10 Plus. After Samsung rolled out all of the latest updates for it, I really have no reason to upgrade. The S22's camera is better for sure but the Note 10 Plus has a camera that's no slouch either. I have taken some outstanding photos and videos with it. Also, still to this day when I use my Note 10 without a case I always get people telling me how awesome it looks. The Aurora glow finish is unique and beautiful. I will surely be holding onto this phone for another year or longer.
I have both rn and I did some camera comparisons and lowkey the note 10 wins in some. I was disappointed. And I swear I never had so many people even to this day ask me what phone I was holding. I'd always say "it's my 3yo samsung" lmao. Such a sleek modern looking phone
samsung flagships like note 8 work so fine and smooth even if it stops receiving the security updates 6mos ago. as long as it supports all apps on playstore for 5more additional years theyre all win who ever got older these samsung phones
You just made me love my Note 10 Plus 5G 512gb... its the best phone ever, best looking phone ever, and just made the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Note 22 (GALAXY S22 ULTRA coz it is the Note) looked like undeserving upgrade in 2022. Mobile phone seems like it has reached its peak upgrade so companies like Samsung and Apple stopped giving us bigger upgrade, and started asking for more money from us. Not to mention removing charging bricks. Kudos to you and keep making these honest videos.
I'm new to the Samsung family, after strictly using nothing but iPhone's I switched to Android and this S22 Ultra (512GB in Phantom black) absolutely love this beast. A little disappointing in the battery performance but still gets me through my day ending at 20% - 25% left. Everything else is top notch, I plan on keeping this beast for a few years. Especially with 4 years of major OS support yep I'm getting extra comfy here. Great video bro.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and Note 10+ which are both fantastic phones. Love my Note and every time I think of upgrading I just can’t give it up. It’s not worth much anyway but it’s such a stout device. I’ll hang onto it for a while. Very good review, it needed to be done.
I have the Note 10+, I just received my pre-order of the new S22 Ultra. IMO, the Note 10+ was the best Note ever made. It seems back in 2019, Samsung was still on the upward side of advancing their phones. It has 256GB base, expandable memory, larger screen than the predecessor (Note 9), and significant camera and feature upgrades like the in-screen fingerprint sensor. Yes, they did eliminate the headphone jack, but I was OK with that. The Note 20 Ultra didn't seem to be much of an upgrade, and that's why I kept my Note 10+. I was waiting for Note 21 Ultra that never came. Honestly, I'm only trading for the S22 Ultra for future proofing for the next few years, as the Note 10+ will not be getting any more OS updates after Android 12. Also, T-Mobile was offering a ridiculous trade in value for my Note 10+, more than I could get selling it online. So, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Will I miss my Note 10+, abso-freekin-lutely! It was and still is a BEAST! But in tech, you're only good for 2-3 years at most, and after 3-4 years, it's time. The Note 10+ has aged very well, and still kicks ass today. Only Father Time is catching up to it, but not because it's a bad device. in 2019, it was the absolute best there was to get. Period. I got the new S22 Ultra, in the green color, but....it doesn't give me the same warm and fuzzies that I got when I got my Note 10+, in Aura Blue. At the rate of progress in 2019, by now, the S22/Note22 should have 512 standard GB, with 12/16 GB RAM and 1TB as choice option....but, Samsung went backwards and started offering 128GB/8GB RAM. Really??? I got the S22 Ultra, 256GB/ 12GB RAM. It will be a hard act to follow behind the Note 10+. Fingers crossed!
Old standard of tech upgrades was 2-3 years. Id argue if you buy the latest tech the same year it comes out you'd be fine with said device for atleast 5-6 years now. 1080p/60hz, LCD/IPS is still the univeraal standard, everything else is extra and they're trying to make us believe we need it. Iphone se, note 9, tab s4, ipad pro 2018 all great devices that could ckeep up with today's standard use. Devices only get updated out of relevancy in today's market (but who says you need the updates?)
I recently upgraded for the same reason. Considering that my Note 10+ was no longer going to get updates, and considering that Verizon offered me $800 of trade value for a three year old phone, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on an s22 ultra in green to future proof myself.
Thank you for this video! I currently have the Note 10+, and was considering upgrading to the S22 Ultra. After watching this video, I will keep my Note 10+ as there doesn't seem to be too significant a difference to justify making that jump. Great video!
i had the limited edition star wars note 10 + but decided to upgrade to s22 ultra 256gb and 12gb of ram now after watching this video the differences are very small especially for the price tag the Note 10 + really was an outstanding phone
@@jack56794 great phone slim design and that edition is priceless, check the price for the new one on eBay you will be surprised, I will wait for the next generation s22 ultra,
Note 10 plus performs great! Unless you get $800 for any Galaxy trade in I don't think $1200 is justified for the S22 which comes w/o the charging BRICK and no expandable memory. Not to mention, Xiaomi, Oppo, One Plus, even Motorola are coming out with less expensive "flagship" worthy phones.. But if you got the S22 Ultra on the pre-order price, well cheers! 🍻
I've got both units, and even though S22 Ultra is a great phone, I'm thinking of returning it, it doesn't feel much like an upgrade and do not like how much heavier it is, Note 10 plus got me spoiled 😅
I have them both also, I must send the Note 10+ back for my "trade in". If feels like a slight upgrade to the Note 10+ more so than the Note 20 Ultra. The phone is also thicker and heavier than the Note 10+. I assume that's due to the 5000 mAh battery, but in my opinion, they could have made it 6.9in with a slightly slimmer profile....but, they didn't ask me. I get the 5G, the 120Hz, etc. But it just doesn't "feel" like a true upgrade. I felt like a true upgrade when I first got my Note 10+ a couple of years ago. Future OS updates was the push for me to go ahead and upgrade, and the pre-order trade in deals.
Great comparisons! I love my note 10 plus but I'm upgrading because of the value of the phone deteriorate every year so if next year there's a significant difference it won't be a budget killer.
I have have a Note 10 for many years but bought a Note 20 Ultra in replacement. I didn't find any massive difference in speed, the camera bump at the back of the 20 was horrible and the phone wouldn't sit flat. I resold it within a week and have still got my Note 10. Which I am definately keeping.
I decided to upgrade from my note 10+ to the s22 ultra. My note has been one of the best phones I've had but has started having some issues. T-Mobile gave me a great trade in price for my note on preorder. Also as you mentioned I use my camera a ton, it is my only camera so that was a big influence for me.
I think their offer on the Note 20 Ultra was $1000 BUT you have to sign up for their most expensive plan and they pay it out over 24 months to make sure you don't jump ship. It's not the gravy train deal you think it is - I actually own both phones, I also have a Note 10 + 5G
@@fzr1000981 should I get note 10 plus s10 plus or s20 plus I cant afford the ultra and I think balery probably afford the 20 plus but I want good cameras with 120 hz but I also I dont wanna pay alot but my options or these phones
Thank you for the comparisons. I'll definitely be keeping my Note 10+ then. A few months ago I tried out the s 20 fe but ended up returning it and would you believe me if I told you it was because of the sound quality?! It made such a difference that I was practically willing to downgrade that 120 hrts refresh rate so I could get my sound back. I don't know why people aren't complaining about this more as it can be a really big deal when it comes to over all quality. Anyway if sound is an issue on the s22 U I'll hold on to this beauty. Samsung get your act together!!
I have a note 10+ 5G....still a brilliant phone, gonna keep this phone for a while yet. The S22 ultra is a nice looking phone, especially in white but for me the note 10+ is still the boss! London SE5
And this is why I'm subscribed to Matthew because he's covering things not many tech RUclipsrs are covering showing real world use of older flagships vs new school flagships. Thanks bro👍🏼💯
I have had the N10+ (256gb) since May 2020 and haven't had any problems. Cameras are still great, the phone is still lightning fast, and I'm only halfway through my internal storage now in 2022.
Same here, I used up 130 gb of storage which is just over half of my 256 gb storage. That's the privilege that any S22 Ultra with 128 gb of storage would never have, and I'm happy with it.
I'm in this exact position upgrading my note 10 + (not the 5g model) to the s22 ultra 512 gig version. What got me to finally decide the upgrade was worth it was better cameras, and 5g; however losing the sd card slot hurts.
ACTUALLY I LOT OF PEOPLE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS 5G THING COMING MORE OUT MAKING USERS WITH 4G A BIT SLOWER. I HAVE THE SAM NOTE10 PLUS AND NOTICING THIS LAG RESPONSE TIME. YEA ITS BAD GIVING UP THE 10PLUS FOR THE ULTRA IN LOSING THE THIS N THAT BUT I SAY THE TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE YOU SHOULD DO IT FOR.
Man this is a super dope video. I just purchased a Note 10+ from Amazon renewed. I’ve been in iOS since 2014 I didn’t wanna take the plunge on the S22 and end up back on iOS. So I’m taking baby steps. This video is what I needed to see!! Dope content my brother✌🏾
Great comparison my man! Sub and 👍. Not surprised to see so many people are still hanging on to their Note10+. I have the same Aura Glow Note10+, 256GB. Took the bait though and upgraded to the S22 Ultra Phantom Black 512GB. T-mobile had given me a pre-order promo of $400 trade-in for my wife's Note8 and a free Galaxy Watch 4! Samsung only offered me $150 for the trade-in. Luckily their website crashed so I couldn't pre-order so I had to go thru T-mobile. So now my wife will get my almost new Note10+. Had replaced it 3x with T-mobile's 360⁰ insurance due to drops. She only makes calls and are not a power user like myself. She doesn't care about phones. Yeah they are expensive but I use my phone for business and electric mountain bike riding. I need the super clear optical & digital zoom to scope trails for directions & obstacles before riding. This will help with crashes.
Telephoto lens is one of the biggest point I would want to consider on the new gen of Samsung phones. It is so tempting but the removal of MST and SD card... No I can't.
@@hungtrumno one limit of having an SD card is that you cant shoot 4K videos to your SD card. Regardless, they offered $500 trade-in credit for my Note 10+, so I ended up getting the 1TB + a galaxy Tab S8 for a total of $1300 with taxes. I just couldnt pass this steal 🤣
I got my my S22 Ultra 512gb for $399 with Verizon trade-in program. Had the 10 plus. The only real difference is the newer version of 5G and the better camera. My 10+ had screen burn in which most people don't talk about. So getting the Ultra does have some advantages.
I had the Note 8 from 2017-2022. I won't change phones before the 4 year mark. Not enough improvement for me. Since I waited, it's noticeably difference. I'm very impressed with the S22 ultra. Worth the wait.
That was an incredible review! Great comparison and content! I do have both phones, both at 12 g ram, and there are hardly any difference as you mentioned. Camera is definitely a huge upgrade with slightly battery life on the S22 ultra. Keep up the good work.
Note 10 plus has MST and I think S22U doesn’t have MST. Mst is very convenient to use at all vendors and it seems magical. After A12/UI4.0 update NOTE 10PLUS rocks and a pleasure to use . Sticking with mine NT10Plus until Samsung brings out a better FOLD4 OUTER SCREEN.
Going on my 3rd year with Note 10. In reference to the SD card.... after 3 years, I had a TON of pics and videos. Made a bucket list trip to Africa...... THANK GOD for the SD card. I sure did run out of room and was able to transfer everything over to the card and keep adding to the memories!
I just upgraded from the Note 10+ 256gb Black to the S22 Ultra 512gb version Black. Immediately I can see a big difference in the camera...huge difference!! The stylus has a nice rubberized feel now and writes nearly as well as a pencil would...not exaggerating. I seem to get my finger in front of the camera but that's a self training exercise not a flaw. I'm very glad I made the purchase on Samsung's website...unlocked and I was able to trade in my Note 8 as well as my Note 10+ and I still have the $250 credit to figure out what to do with. I'm guessing a Watch4 Classic in Black. Anyone have feedback on that and if getting the 4g phone version is worth it?
Still rocking my note 10 plus and without a case it just looks so beautiful, I will upgrade when we get an under display selfie camera and 200 mega pixels camera
Note 10+ and iPhone 12 pro max. Note 10+ is the only one with my sim card now because of a life change. Of all the devices I have I grab my Note way more than any others. I thought about trading it in and going with the S22, but had to honestly think about why I was doing it, and even with trade I don't want to pay whatever the difference is for a phone that isn't a major upgrade. I don't take tons of photos and screen refresh rate isn't a big deal for me. Sticking with this a little longer. Great video and review, really enjoyed confirming my doubts.
Can't take that s22 ultra price point, but saw the note 10 and needed to compare and for better audio, comparable stylus and respectable camera and visual... But 1/3 price. **walks off with note 10** Thank you.
Awww, man! I am on my Note 10+ now with my new S22 Ultra on the way tomorrow! Looks like I am only gonna benefit with getting better cameras, the 120hz refresh rate, more updates and 5G. My Note 10 is not the 5G version. I am also hearing the vibration motor on my Note 10+ is better along with the speakers. So, ion know how much of an upgrade I am getting. I love my Note 10 and I may miss it when it's gone! 😥😥😥
I've had my Note 10 Plus for a few years and it was easily my favorite phone ever. If not for the latest Android updates causing significant decreases in battery life, I would have kept it as long as possible. However, for my line of work I need my phone all day long, so the S22 Ultra is coming into the mix strictly for battery life purposes. Otherwise the Note 10 Plus is still absolutely rock solid.
I'm glad I saw this video, I was thinking of the new S22 Ultra, but there's hardly any difference between the 2 and for the price I'm happy to stay with my Note 10plus. I'm not surprised that the note 10 plus is still holding its own as it's Samsungs flag ship phone and has always been better than the rest of the line up. Maybe in 2 or 3 years when and if another Note is released.
Watching this on my Galaxy Note 10 plus 5G, it is still an amazing phone, never had any issues, sure the battery life isn't as good as it was three years ago when I got it but I have never needed any more speed, the aura glow is just about the best color that any smartphone has ever been. It is stunning and unique. Unfortunately the Note 10 plus 5G is not real 5G, and I do need 120 hertz display because I get headaches without it, but I am almost done with my 36 month payment plan LOL
one youll be stuck using the same software for the rest of eternity. and the other you will feel like you are getting a new device with each major Android update for the next 4 years.
No offense but I personally find the back design of S22 Ultra quite disturbing. Those cameras at the back send chills down my spine. Rather trypophobic.
Having old flagships is a good choice if you do not think about upgrades. After all, they are doing their newer flagships phones based on the old ones... so if you don't care about upgrades and refresh rate S10 serie is the most flashy and flamboyant serie of samsung...
🔥 Review, you have a new subscriber, in fact I posted your review in Reddit\galaxynote10 forum! Because of your side by side comparison I'm absolutely keeping my Note 10+ 5G for at least another 2 years.
A FAIL on so many levels. #1 no SD expansion. #2 you can't even buy the 1TB thru carriers. You gotta pay the whole $1600 up front and buy directly from Samsung. I'll pass and see if they wise up for the S23
I thought i'll never see this comparison lol. I have the Aura Glow Exynos Note 10+ non 5G and i'm waiting for my Black Snapdragon S22U 5G. I might still keep the Note 10+ though as a spare phone.
What I can see, if you buy the phone because its camera, then wait after 7 years. There are not major upgrade even after 3-4 years except for the zoom. I upgrade from samsung note 4 to iphone 13 pro. My wife from samsung note 4 to note 10+. We will upgrade after 7-8 years later (note 10+ -> maybe s26+, iphone 13 -> iphone 20). Change the phone every year because the camera, but they just upgrade so little every year… so waste
I got the Note 10+..... the best phone ever made by Samsung, as you said 256 GB/12 GB RAM, Dynamic Amoled, HDR10+, is hard to find a better phone 2 and half years later..... and I'll keep it for the longest therm I can.
my friend has the Galaxy s22 ultra and I will tell you this The Note 10 plus still has a great camera and one thing I've noticed is that the zoom on the s22 goes up to 100 but other than that it's not that big of a difference as a matter of fact I actually noticed the Note 10 picks up a little more detail on pictures then the s22 does. The note 10 plus still has an amazing camera
Nice video. I upgraded from the note 9 to the 10 and then to the 20. I do miss the note 9, as I think that was the last real note. Won't be upgrading due to the sd card support. Will have to look elsewhere when my note 20u dies.
Hi, have upgraded from this older handset about 3 weeks ago and wouldn't look back with my version rocking the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Cheers from Australia.
@@dtay8913 do you think the note 10p is only better than the s22u because of the storage and memory? I think that's not the only things that make up a phone
Matthew, i absolutely enjoy watching your videos , i've been using my samsung galaxy s7 edge for years now and i CANNOT WAIT to upgrade to the note10+/ note 20 ultra , great video :)
I've just got the s22 ultra and I honestly can't decide if the photos are better than my note 10 plus. It's definitely better at macro and at zooming but when it comes to standard every day pics I can't decide. Sometimes the the s22 ultra looks better but a lot of the time I prefer the Note 10 plus photos
I returned my s22 ultra and happy with my iPhone 13 pro max and the note 10+, 22 ultra no screen protector no sd card slot no power brick, cmon Samsung! iPhone 13 pro max remains the BEST
My Note 10+ HAS aged incredibly well, has a mechanical VARIABLE APERTURE on main S Pen air actions - and I like the design better than my Note 20 Ultra! the buttons on the left, it's the actual design innovation that's been refined ever since. I traded in my Note 20 Ultra, but KEPT my Note 10+
I went to the S22 Ultra from the note 10 plus. I loved my 10 plus but I wanted the better camera and I was noticing my battery seemed to be starting to show some issues. Now that my battery has had time to program I don't feel like I need to charge near as much and I think the finger print scanner on the Ultra is much better.
Thanks for the info, glad you are happy with the upgrade. I am considering doing the same. Since you have had both phones, can you say if the S22 Ultra is wider screen wise than the Note 10+? According to specs the S22 Ultra screen should be 77.9 mm wide while the one on the Note 10+ should be 77.2 mm wide (somewhat narrower in other words) but on the video above it almost looks the opposite which is kinda strange. Is the S22 Ultra wider (width) screen wise when you compare them ‘in real life’?
I have a Note 10 plus and LOVE it. One of our lines upgraded to the 22 plus and it's nice but heavy. My carrier offered me a way to get a 22 plus almost completely free now that my Note is paid off. It's still in great shape and very durable with an amazing camera BUT I have had all kinds of connection issues. Call quality fades in and out even at full 5g. Messages and voicemail don't show up. The internet turns itself into an unstoppable and weird magnified version of the pages. Also when I Google a business or item the map always turns me back to the same city. Always the same location, not where I am or my home city. I have searched high and low for resolutions to these issues to no avail. They are slowly getting worse.
Great review. Very thorough, appreciate it. Was thinking of upgrading for my N10+ but not sure if I should make the leap to the S24U and have been thinking of the S22U instead. Realizing that it wont be much of a jump. Thanks again...
I'm not going to lie guys i still have my note 10 plus and i love it but i just ordered the s22 ultra. After using my wifes s21 ultra her phone literally does feel like a big upgrade so i can only imagine how the s22 ultra would feel. S22 is faster, way better camera, 120 refresh rate, and it's display is better!
@@the3mcbees who ever said the speakers suck is a complete lie. The speakers are actually loud for a phone. I upgraded from note 10 plus and let me tell you it's completely worth it. It's a night and day difference in performance and smoothness and everything else for that matter.
The colors of the Note 10 plus with it's Beautiful Brilliant Shiny Colors Though a fingerprint magnet Are much better looking than The newer matte / frosted Backs on these newer ones They Be looking like Cheap Plastic In comparison
Good comparison. I have the Note 10+, got it when it released back in Aug 2019. Have NEVER had to have replaced/repaired due to defects, NOR have I ever had to have my screen replaced from dropping it, and i have dropped it on MANY occasions. I have always kept it in an Otter Box case, and have NEVER had a screen protector on it. I have mild wear on my screen from 3 years use, but no scratches/gouges/cracks on the screen (or the back due to the case). I was comparing the specs, myself, due to having this phone for so long, and am disappointed with the limits they put on the S22 Plus for base storage and no SD card capabilities, though I have never used an SD card in my 10+, either, so not a BIG loss, but I like having my 256GB. I MAY consider upgrading to a 512GB Note 10+, but at this time, don't see any reason to swap phones to "upgrade" to something less than what I already have, aside from the camera. Great vid, bud.
Nice comparison dude, i got note 10 plus 5g. But i didn't upgrade my note to the latest note coz my note 10 plus 5g is still competitive versus in the latest note right now. Im good at mmy note right now.👍
The s10 series changed samsung forever still a great phone in 2022
Sure dude I came from iphone since 2013 and went I see the note 10 plus I was on shock the phone looks from the future
I agree I HATED Samsung before the launched the s10 serious . Here I am with a stupid iPhone 13 pro

If they would give the Note 10 plus a couple more os updates they couldn't sell the s22 Ultra because of the 10+ being still such a beast
Well, updates won't help depending if your phone carrier will still support the phone.
And the battery upgrade
I'm still rocking my Note 10 plus 512gb for 3 years now, and I don't think I need to upgrade to S22 Ultra, cause they just look the same, and the only cons of S22 Ultra for me is there is no SD card slot that my Note 10 plus offers. The pros of the S22 Ultra for me is the color options and the 100x zoom capability.
Honestly the s10 and note 10 series are probably my favorite phones ever

Yo tengo Samsung Note 10 + y estoy en duda de cambiarlo por un S22 Ultra .
¿Vale la pena?
I just upgraded from the note 10+ to the s22 ultra. The same two he has. Definitely wasn't worth it. Could've waited for the next phone to come out.
Seriously I don't think s22 ultra is worth to upgrade if one have note 10 plus
Its subjective depending on the user. If you are happy with what you have stick with it.
Although the S22 Ultra has definitely piqued my interest, I absolutely love my Note 10 Plus. After Samsung rolled out all of the latest updates for it, I really have no reason to upgrade.
Welcome to the dark side lol
I’m switching from iphone 11 to s22 ultra. I’m also getting 512gb black
Hi Joe can i have your note10+ if you done hanging on to it please? am too tight on budget that i cant even afford a phone.
@@generalsinx5859 begging on youtube xD
Fingers crossed!
keep ur note 10 plus for a min because I heard that some of the earlier s22 ultra having some issues
What was the T-Mobile trade in value on the 10+? I still have mine, was going to trade the Note 20 Ultra
But that's only if you sign up for the most expensive plan
Smart boy😎
The issue is Samsung keeps taking features like expandable storage and the charger out of their boxes
If I'm gonna be honest in the beginning I thought the note 10+ was the ultra because they are just that close
Same here. Thought that was the Ultra until he flipped the back upside haha.
i had the limited edition star wars note 10 + but decided to upgrade to s22 ultra 256gb and 12gb of ram now after watching this video the differences are very small especially for the price tag the Note 10 + really was an outstanding phone
We were in the same boat until I left ( returned the S22 ultra and keep my beautiful note 10+ star wars edition,

Saaame bro saaame
I made a "mistake" and bought S22 ultra while having N10+... well... got no excuses :/
May be the next one will not the real deal. I need to see a razonable diference btwin both, write u from my note 10+😎😂
FACTS 💯 ME 2!
Thanks for this comparison! I was looking to upgrade to S22 Ultra (currently using Note 10+) but I think I will hold back after watching your vid!
ACCURATE!!! I pre-ordered the S22+ and was given an $800 credit for my s9+.... S9+!!!! The Otterbox for the S22+ is worth more than the s9+ 😆
@@VMOwens86 Right?! Lol.. I too pulled the trigger after I convinced myself not to, haha! But hey, $800 for my old Note 8 I couldn't resist. Cheers! 🍺
I just turned in an old s4 for the $800 credit. Couldn't pass it up.
@@Topside27 I hear ya, I might ended up keeping it since it is only costing me $300.
Isn't the camera of the S22 much better than the 10+? And the screen is better too....no? Heavier and thicker, for sure.
@@2musiclover534 yes it is, I did a video comparison and the camera quality is miles better on the the S22 Ultra
Yes I agree I don't like the weight of the S22 Ultra. Feels like a brick. I love my note 10 plus. It's perfect
Agreed keep the SD Card support. It's excellent and very useful
Great comparisons! I love my note 10 plus but I'm upgrading because of the value of the phone deteriorate every year so if next year there's a significant difference it won't be a budget killer.
Watching on my galaxy note 10 plus still a great phone even in 2022
Note 10 plus still a Great Phone in September 2024.
Such a good review!!! Very accurate when listening both speakers, the note 10 plus speakers sound definitely louder and clearer!!!
Many years? It's still a 2 year old phone!
I mean to be fair you could of got a case
2 years isnt MANY... 😳
@@KatyaXx0 Not sure where people got 2 years from, although it may have been discontinued 2 years ago. I bought my Note 10 at least 5 years ago.
What did T-Mobile give you on trade?
@@fzr1000981 $865
I think their offer on the Note 20 Ultra was $1000 BUT you have to sign up for their most expensive plan and they pay it out over 24 months to make sure you don't jump ship. It's not the gravy train deal you think it is - I actually own both phones, I also have a Note 10 + 5G
@@fzr1000981 should I get note 10 plus s10 plus or s20 plus I cant afford the ultra and I think balery probably afford the 20 plus but I want good cameras with 120 hz but I also I dont wanna pay alot but my options or these phones
I could sell you my 10+ 5G. I have 22 Ultra now
Thank you for the comparisons.
All manufacturers should bring SD Card support back to smartphones. Not just Samsung
I have a note 10+ 5G....still a brilliant phone, gonna keep this phone for a while yet. The S22 ultra is a nice looking phone, especially in white but for me the note 10+ is still the boss! London SE5

I think you just sold me on keeping my note 10+ VS doing the trade in. Thanks.
There is not necessity to upgrade if you have Note 10 plus is a great device!
Same !
Good choice.👍😎
I have screen burn on my note 10+ too. Other than that it's a great phone!
Glad to have found your review. Valid comparison. This cemented my decision to not upgrade fromy note10+ to the ultra. THANKS!!!
Wow the note 10+ definitely sounded sharper that's amazing
Would've been really cool if you had shown some HDR videos on both the devices to compare the displays imo
I "upgraded" my old note 10 plus to the new Samsung S22 the smallest size one and I'm regretting it because I miss my note 10 plus
THING IS U CAN UPGRADE THE CAM SOFTWARE TO DO THE SAME AND SAMSUNG PURPOSELY GIVES BS CAMERA OPTIONS WHEN THEY COULD GIVE A MUCH BETTER OPTIMIZED CAM.
@@W4R_pOP3._718 how can you upgrade the camera software?!
I don't think the first practical flexible OLED screen would come any time soon. Would predict it would come at Fold 6 or 7 or later...
@Harry Do Yah you are probably right...this tech needs to mature. Even the 10th version of Note (practically 9th) was made flawless, imo.
**walks off with note 10**

Yea good luck recording 8k 60fps video lol
How are you liking the S22? Are the speakers really that noticeably different? I want to upgrade for the camera but not sure if it's worth it.
Yeah my battery life isn't what it use to be on the note 10+, I'm gonna try and hold out another year but I'll probably be upgrading soon.
Thank you for this video my man. Exactly what I was looking for. Other than the camera and the 120hz its the same phone.

The finger print sensor on the ultra is crazy. Very fast
Thank you , you just saved me spending 1500 euros on a new phone , I'll keep my brilliant note 10 plus
I have the note 10 plus still but am wanting to upgrade. Are you glad you upgraded and are the speakers really that bad?
@@the3mcbees who ever said the speakers suck is a complete lie. The speakers are actually loud for a phone. I upgraded from note 10 plus and let me tell you it's completely worth it. It's a night and day difference in performance and smoothness and everything else for that matter.
The colors of the Note 10 plus
with it's
Beautiful Brilliant Shiny Colors
Though a fingerprint magnet
Are much better looking than
The newer matte / frosted
Backs on these newer ones
They Be looking like Cheap Plastic
In comparison
Im good at mmy note right now.👍
I'm think about just keeping my note 10 plus and not trading it in
6:10 I believe they did well making a lower model to match the lower price point while still including the beefed up camera
THE NOTE 10 IS WIDER ❗
AND THE STYLUS IS SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER IN TERMS OF ACCURACY IN THE 10+
great insights
& the good comparison as Note10+ really is more identical to S22ultra then other previous devices 👍🏼
I love my Note10 plus. I see 0 reasons for me to upgrade to the s22. Looks like I will be waiting another year or 2 before upgrading.
Me too i will wait s23 ultra or maybe s24 still my note 10+ beast
