I am glad to see rebinders experimenting and exploring new leather options. It really opens up the possibilities for creating the perfect bible for each person. Dave does some amazing work!
Beautiful rebind. With all this popularity of these Horween bibles, I'm glad I rebound 2 of my bibles myself with Horween leather, 2 years ago, at minimal cost.
Yeah... the Horween leather is growing on me for sure! I wanna see a 1 year crash test from an "everyday use" setting. I'm sure it wears really nicely.
Yeah it really does. I have a couple wallets and some belts made with Horween. It wears very nicely and still has a clean yet rustic look. Quality leather is all I can say.

That is very well done. I have always hesitated to do a rebind because I think: "I could buy a whole new premium Bible for that cost." But, when you see Bibles done like this and the ICA one from the last video - you see why you should really consider it.
I’ve been looking for the perfect layout smaller Bible but with pretty decent sized font with great paper to have Dave rebind in bison. Love his work I’ve seen & the few products I’ve bought for him have been great. Always great response from him on questions as well.
That’s a gorgeous rebind! I just got that text block in a bison binding out of the box and I love it (as do my aging eyes). It’s definitely a candidate for a rebind.

Perfect timing. I just noticed that Crossway's site now says the Horween Heirloom Heritage is out of print. I guess I'll have to contact Dave!

Sweet bible, would love to have one but that Horween leather is so expensive
One thing about some rebinds is how tight the binding gets hence making the text run into the gutter too much for my liking
