Preparing for an Open Championship - The Story of the 151st at Royal Liverpool

We spent the week with Royal Liverpool links manager James Bledge on throughout the 151st Open Championship as well as on the lead up to the event. This film is chronicles the work by James and his team, as well as the volunteers from up and down the country who flocked to Royal Liverpool tto lend a hand.
It's hard to understate just how much goes into preparing a links for golfs oldest major, but hopefully this film gives you some idea about the standards the team are working to, the hard work and sleepless nights that go into it and the craft and attention to detail that our greenkeepers from the UK pour into our courses every single day.

What a great video this is. As a former Greenskeeper I can appreciate the huge personal effort it takes to succeed in this profession. I have been a PGA Professional for the last 30 years, so have seen it from both sides, Greenkeeping is a true vocation.
