The RB5 looked good on the track even though the track was loose. You do pretty well to drive and keep the camera on the car whilst it's going around. Well done.
Nice to see how well the RB5 goes out there Keith. People don’t realise how much work goes into maintaining tracks and yours is looking brilliant still buddy! 🙌🏻
'its just the driver thats terrible', BAMMM haha... Murphy was watching there. Need to get some track maintenance in myself.. I have walnuts grrrrr. RB5 looks so sweet bud. Love the run. Coffe with Keith complete...
Really nice buggy!! I heard you mention the weed issue on the track. We had the same problem but I sprayed it (100% coverage) with a herbicide with an added pre emergent. Where we live we only have to treat it maybe three or four times a year depending on the amount of rain. Saves a lot of work. Cool video mate thanks for the upload 👍
The RB5 looked so good going ver that table top, it landed so clean on to and of that jump. Awesome looking track 👌 I really need to go baxk oer your Videos and watch the last few on the build
I guess thats one thing most people would never thing about. Track work, and the amount of time it takes to do, and can all be undone by a few days of rain. It looked great on the track, i loved my dirtmaster and its a car i would deffo get again 😎
That RB5 looked beautiful. Please give us just 2 or 3 seconds of close-up of every car that you run on the track because it might look even better in the sunlight than inside your house ! These cars were painted so nicely that it would be a shame not to give us a final close-up before the maiden-run...
It’s amazing you get anytime at all on the track im just south of you in CT and it feels like it’s rained everyday in the past three months im glad you found the time
Hey Keith, that ran well! Super smooth torque, a couple of moments where you had the tail wriggling 😂😊😂but looked like you were enjoying the running 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
Just got myself an RB5 I am rebuilding to nice and new. Only part ya cant get ya hands on is a chassis cos everyone bought them up for the sandmaster to replace the plastic on.... Pity I couldn't find one sooner!
Nice run 👍 23t motor was the stock class onroad in Japan back in the days (and other countries, for sure Switzerland), so there are some gems (and probably why Superstock BZ TZ RZ Tamiya are 23t). I'm asking a lot but would be interesting to have a simple without body overview of the car before the run please 😉🤝
Heya, I have an RB5, I love it, great buggy. Stock it's a bit understeery but a little bit of fiddling helps. I uses the same or really close to identical tub chassis to the Type R that preceded it. Likely made to compete against the B4 from that time. I have a B4 and a Tamiya TRF201, and of the three, I think the B4 is just that bit more planted and turns in better. Fun video btw.
Just from audio cues alone I can hear you're running terribly slow servos. You do fast insensitive inputs yet the steering can't keep up. Most of these jx servos might be ok for crawlers and bashers but for running on the track they're just painfully slow. Most youtubers use these terrible 20kg servos with almost 0,2s transit time and these are completely useless. Instead go for 9kg and at least 0,1s. This makes all the difference in the world and you can get some good srt or acg servos for under 30bucks.

It looked great on the track! Track maintenance is a drag and there is always something to do! The backpack blower make quick work of the acorns!
Definitely. The boys and I ended up raking it though to get some of the stones out as well

Cool buggy. Looked good out there and jumped that table top real well and landed nicely. Looking forward to the next Wednesday roundup.
Thanks Ari. Yes, it ran great.
Very nice Keith!!!! What a smooth buggy... I was just gifted a Kyosho RB6, needs work and now I can't wait to get it going...
Like Addam, I was thinking a leaf blower would be a good investment if you don't already have one. Its good to see the cars running.

Nice running video Keith!
Always fun to watch your cars go around the track.
Thanks. They are a blast to run. Just need the weather to cooperate a little

Awesome video Keith. Just right to finish my day. And I'm a 2WD fan, too😊

Great laps. Track maintenance is partly why I haven’t built one yet. Looked great out there.
The RB5 looks good on the track jumps well and seems like a stable platform. Good video Keith
Unreal, loved seeing it on the track, and mannnn that track, WooHoo!!!

23t with that gearing made the perfect combo of power and torque. The rb5 is a good runner.

It jumps so well and the track from where I sit is exactly the surface you wanted and predicted

Wow the paint in the sun on the rb5, jumps nice also. Great buggy looks like she’s quick.

Nice video Keith but really looking forward to the next running vid. That's the car I'm waiting to see run 🤣
Cool video 👍 whatever started it’s engine in the background at around 7 mins sounds awesome
Wow that has some real pace on it, handles really well even with acorns😂

Without body overview, Keith please, awesome idea. Cheers coygtrc!
So that's why there are so many 23t motors out there
All those acorns and no squirrels.😂

Looks great, you could do with a robo vac for the track 🤣
They need to make it again.
