- This video is a view of the entire CTC bottom field assault course from start to finish as it would be run on your PRMC.
What people dont realise when they see these videos is your hanging out before you start ...The training team have had great pleasure in beasting you before you do all this...your usually bolloxed before the kick off.

Ah the memories... We did our bottom field in the depths of winter 1996 with the 30ft ropes covered in ice. Do Lympstone once and only once! Passed out as an original, one of 7 from 76 that started the course.

I remember doing this in 98, we were shown how to do the first obstacle and were told not to drag your foot but to jump and land with both feet together, I dragged my foot , it when into the water and cracked my ankle on the wall and fell over, one of the corporal”s just said “that’s why we show you how to do it properly, get up and run” . It put me way behind for the rest of the test.
Imagine at 2:45 when they go under the bunker there are just like 10 drill instructors there waiting to tickle them to death

Looking at your picture, if thats u you look fit. But army is totally different. Work under sun, snow, rain with 20kg backpack or weights as u do the drills. Dont wear nice sports clothes or trainers. Run with boots and uncomfortable clothes. If u really want it work hard.
With that attitude,stay where you are.

The drill instructors for the United States Marine Corps are specific about this, so that no one kicks the others in the head while going through the obstacles.

These guys are still civilians going through selection. A lot of what you see is just guys proving that they've got the metal to join the Royal Marines. If the pass, they'll join the Royal Marines and then during training, technique and team work is taught.

well from what ik this is day 3 for them, meaning that due to whatever shit they did they were probably exhausted prior to this obstacle course. so idk, maybe try doing couple hours of hard cardio 2 days in a row and then see how it is
