This was a great interview. I sold a $930,000 home (My highest sell) last year and I tell you that it was the hardest sell that I have done thus far. The check at the end was well worth it but I spent close to $1,400 on equipment and advertising for this home and spent a ton of time setting up the home to be sold. Like Chauncey, that is not my cup of tea but because it was for a friend I did it.
@@sidney5375 I think it was worth it because it made me step up my business to a higher standard that I now use on all of my listings. But it was definitely tough going back and forth with the seller about all the other add ons they wanted to do. Video, drone, pictures 4 different times, uhaul trucks…. I went all out on that deal.
@@user-cg7jp7jt4v originally I took photos of the house only. Then they wanted pictures of the golf course and other locations close by. Which is okay because I do that already. Than they saw a specific style of video and they wanted one to match. Then they asked for drone shots, which I didn’t even own a drown. But I think all in all it was worth it because it helped me step up my listings.
Nice, thanks. My situation is funny I wanted regular sales and incidentally broke into the luxury world. My first sale was 2million then right after that my second sale 4million!!! It came naturally to me but then again I do have a luxury branded business so I think that has helped me understand my clients. They are very demanding.....very picky....know what they want....and you have to be at their disposition.
This was honestly the best interview I've watched about breaking into luxury real estate, I've watched numerous videos, and spent hours looking for this exact content. Finally someone broke it down, and was real and honest about it. Thank you guys so much! Looking forward to getting licensed soon :)
I just stumbled across your channel glad I did. As a real estate investor that works the higher end and luxury side of real estate. What Bradford said is pretty much spot on.
This video was very knowledgeable. Even pass the information, the subliminal was on point as well. You have two rich people who sale real estate setting here, with two very different types of clients yet they're both rich because they have figured out a way to find their perfect clients.
Its nice to see someone that wasn't from "wealthy" background! Good video. I would love to see a story like this from a young black woman from her point of view. Tbh people kind of love guys like this. I wana hear from someone that looks like me
I am a top salesman in Car sales at my Dealership. I often deal with high income clients. I’ve been to the Cowboys club and a few other high end Steakhouses in the DFW area many times. So I have no problem building rapport no matter the income level. I would love to go into Real-estate. I’m just afraid to make the jump because I’m comfortable at my current job. I’ve been asked a few times to transition to that market but everyone inflates or exaggerates their experiences and possible earnings.
Yea it’s a no for me lol I thought maybe I could do it .... but I don’t know if I can deal with no just the person buying the home but there assistances and everybody else too . Just to much 😭 I like dealing with families one on one and gettin that connection .
A lot of times I feel as if it’s too late for me to jump into the RE business. I’m 23 years old and have been in the military since 18. I decided this year that I will not be extending my military contract and I will be separating next year to pursue what it is I actually want to do with my life. It’s so crazy that your videos started popping up on my timeline because the timing couldn’t be better and I love listening to you speak with so much enthusiasm and really just give out so much knowledge. I’m anxious to begin my new career next year, and I cannot wait to look back on this comment further down the road. I am certainly positive that the information you’re sharing on this channel will aid my success. I’m speaking it into existence now! Thank you for everything you do ma’am! EDIT:: I GOT licensed September of 2022 and I’m actively assisting families in the DFW area!
I am so proud of you for taking the leap to separate sooner rather than later! I have contemplated separating for years and after 12 years AD I finally decided it was time to move on and pursue a career better suited for my skill sets. Good luck to you!
@@theinteriorvista Separating from the military is just as big of a decision as deciding to join! It’s never too late to decide that you’re ready to make that change in life. You know how it is, everyone in the military only speaks about “making it to 20” but no one actually enjoys the process. I’d much rather roll the dice and bet on myself to be successful at something I actually want to do with my life. Best of luck to you also!
You aren't old in any way, shape or form. LOL. I got my license last Friday. I'm 49. I got my first license at 27. I've seen people start in their 40s. It's all up to you and what you want. Your military background will help you because you have to be consistent, diligent, and work hard, honestly, and loyally for your client. I mean come on! You GOT THIS! If nothing else, you can use your knowledge to invest. Order a class online, start studying, take your time and learn all you can. GOOD LUCK!
I’m so grateful I came across your Chanel , I’m a soon to be real estate student and you’ve helped me gain so much knowledge and confidence before I even started ! I’m super pumped and ready to learn . Thank you ❤️
All I gotta say is how did he complete the program in 3 weeks ?? IM still doing the program and I cant knock it out in 3 weeks :/ I had to start a new program . I been trying almost a year now
I absolutely loved this video I think the two of you have such great chemistry. First off you are amazing and Bradford is just this calm wonderful realtor. I would love to work with both of you. Thank you for sharing and look forward to more content. Used to be a resident of North Dallas. Now I'm in the New York tri-state area and been in the business 6 years
Nope. I don’t. I don’t believe Bradford does either but I could be wrong. The majority of people in Real Estate (notably those that do well) don’t have a degree. They just hustle 🤷🏽♀️
I love your videos! I’ve learned that marketing aggressively is so important to getting luxury clients. Be prepared to spend more time and money than on your average priced homes. I just released a video on my channel showing the marketing I’ve done that’s allowed me to raise my average price point. These are great tips!
Best of luck, Katalynn. Go Vikings! Former Minnesotan here now living in CA. Currently working on my license locally. I hope you get your first listing soon. It only takes one to get the ball rolling!
I love that spoke about being true to yourself as well as living in the luxury space. 💖 He talked about “knowing the luxury lifestyle” (paraphrasing here) and he’s spot on. Great take aways. Thanks !!
Someone is looking out for me and made this video appear in my suggestions and I'm SO glad it did. I'm glad someone else found the Selling franchise trashy, I was appalled by their lack of manners and class, but that makes for great TV, nothing more. Selling OC I had to stop watching and come back to at times because none of the women except the rose girls act like ladies on that show. I would run the other way if I were a client thinking of listing there. This just confirmed to me tonight this is the space I should be in. I have been a class act dating back to my childhood. I used to subscribe to Harper's Bazaar and study all of the fashion trends the wealthy follow. From the way they dress to how they eat, I feel like a documentarian of the upper class. No matter what personal price point I'm in, looking my best while talking intelligently and learning the mannerisms and hobbies of old money is a favorite pastime of mine. Anyone could learn a thing or two from them. Learning new skills and information about the world around you makes you mentally valuable and adds to your overall worth as a person. You can tell this space has rubbed off on "Bradford" within five minutes of listening to him. Half of the art of any deal is socializing and making the client comfortable on a personal level with you in their space. I compare it to going under cover for a journalism assignment. Blend in like a local. Eat their food, listen to their music, read their books, speak like they would. Project confidence and class as you receive in return. There are ways to convey a feeling and connection without being the loudest in the room. Old money is: stuffy, traditional, and old fashioned... But I love it. Great video Chauncey, I just subscribed!

He did my eyelashes years ago and I followed him and now he’s a Dallas Real Estate mogul. I’d love to meet him again.
I’m grateful for this video. I just passed my national and state exam in PA. I’ll build my funds up with regular home snd then tap into “Luxury”
Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Wow!
That's crucial to break into Luxury
He better start writing those experiences for a book. With his charm yet humble personality, It will be a great sell out. Great interview. Thank you.
I was recently watching Selling Sunset and had this question in my mind!! LOL thanks Chauncey!! Great video!!

I’m 18 and I’m really looking into real estate! I don’t even know if I’m interested in college anymore , I just want to get my real estate license
Very smart idea
College was a waste of time for me. Wish I was 18 again

Yasss I love this 😍😍😍 so deep 🙌🏾🙌🏾
My town starts at $1 M. I don't see it as luxury. 😂 I see it as normal.
Yeah, we addressed that in the video.... The term "Luxury" is definitely subjective and depends on a myriad of factors.
There are luxury homes everywhere. Perhaps they cost 10 million dollars where you are 🤷🏽♀️
Luxury in my part of Tx is above 500k , so 1 million gets you pretty much a mansion
The crazy thing about this video is a drunk woman I met at my job told me to go for Sotheby’s in order for me to break through !! Lol
