How do you pick stocks that are in play and have a probability of presenting opportunities on the 5min OR? Are they gapers or do you have scanner criteria? Thank you so much for this video 🙏
There are different ways including having your own instruments that you routinely trade and also by looking for large moves during the pre-market. You can also scan for instruments in a trading range or those that have not moved much in the last few days. Scan for -2 to 2% moves over the last few days which will bring up a list you can monitor.
Anybody who wants to trade needs to read his book. Narrow range followed by range expansion (in context of strong first leg and tight consolidation), is my bread and butter trade.
Great video, I've ate it more than once on the first opening candle. Patience, though I know to wait, I get emo and pay dearly. Videos like this help me right the boat and reinforce Patience, strategy, which leads to consistency. I gotta ask, do you stay that chill...even on a red day?
Thank you for the comment. There was a time that green to red would ruin my day, my week. It wasn't helpful in any way. Having hard and fast rules...such as never letting a position reach 7-8% underwater without exiting helps. Seeing obvious moves against the position, exit. Having a plan to get out and not look back, helps. Takes a while to get somewhat immune to a loss....still working on it...but never as bad as it once was.
@@Netpicks1 I'm still figuring out the market, was setting daily goals, hitting them. Now I gave it all back and can't get one trade right. Yeah, it feels not so good. Is the market or my strategy? When I didn't know squat I did better, go figure. Are you making money at the moment? Thank you for taking the time to reply, I feel you have good content and should have more traffic.
Love the explanation. Can you combine the ORB with Multi Time Frame strategy? So lets use the 5min for our loWer time frame and maybe the 15 min for the higher time frame. Thanks.
A few ways to make profits on the same move? Nothing wrong with that. Depending on your exit strategy, the 5 minute trade may end but the 15 could run for the session. I use intra-day time frames for daily chart entries at times. There has been many times where those entries faced no adverse price action during the rest of the day.
I am trying to implement this on SPY. Thanks for great video.
Thanks for the video. Really great info. I've been developing a 15 orb strategy and this really helps.
Great to hear!
Great communicator !! A smooth voice makes the difference !! Like your approche and vibe Mr!! Thanks for the tips!!
I appreciate that!
Great video man very informative. Don't know how the views are so low and no comments lol
I have to start using headings like "95% WINNING STRATEGY" and promising riches to compete with the fluff on RUclips.
@@Netpicks1 u should my man. There are ton of trash video out there with thousands of views

So do you enter based on the 1 minute or 5 minute chart?
You can use either one but a shorter one always has the disadvantage of a fake out
Great educational content on ORB
Do you use the midnight range?
It is the opening range of the session regardless of the session.
Toby crabel in his famous book he used 5-10 minutes as a reference and his book was published in 1992

What candlesticks type you have used?
All types from renko and range to tick and time-based. We also use a custom candlestick in our day trading program: www.getnetpicks.com/hvwt2458739062

Does this work on futures?
Any market that has an opening...unlike FX
Great can you make a video on fibs
If you search our channel, there are some videos on using Fibonacci. Interesting enough, using Fibs was my introduction to trading a decade or so ago.
good video
Thanks
