Thanks! Fortunately I managed to avoid the taste of the water on this occasion! Regarding the maig, I suspect there's plenty which could be done to optimise the blade angles mounting on the handle. I found it much more effort than a scythe, but that could just be unfamiliarity. Still nicer than getting in the water with a scythe 😄
