I love the lights, but I don't like the idea of the wires and batteries and having to deal with all that extra...... so I'm really torn. My husband wants the lights, but is leaving the decision up to me :)
Yes, Christine!!! I can’t wait to watch you make these😍 I really love that In The Garden kit - the colors are so yummy. Feeding the birds is adorable! I love the basket, I don’t know why that basket gets my attention so much. I am making the Harvest ornaments right now. I love the quality of Merry Stockings kits. Each time I open one I am impressed. Happy stitching on these, my friend! I enjoy them so much. I just know more cross stitchers will love them too.
I'm so excited to get started! I have only one Harvest Ornament left to do and I'm going to finish it tonight, then dive headfirst into the stocking! I agree about the quality of Merry Stocking kits! The floss, instructions and sequins are high quality and they give so much extra felt! BTW, Did you make the pumpkin pie yet? It doesn't say to stuff it, so I didn't, but I feel like it should have a little ( my husband disagrees, lol) Thanks for being an felt kit buddy!!!
@@calico_whimsy I have not done the pie yet, but sometimes if the instructions say not to stuff I will still put a layer of quilt batting in the middle and that does the trick of making it look fluffy without distorting the pattern. Maybe that could help the pie?

I'm so happy to watch your feltubes and will look forward to seeing your progress on the stockings. The Classic Village would look great on a wreath since those pieces are flat - someone could add felt trees and snow and other relevant pieces. I think my next felt kit might be a tree skirt. I've been eyeing those and looking for the right one. I love the ornament kits as well. I also subscribe to Teenie Weenie Stitches. I love both your channels. So many great ideas for stitching and felting. 🙂
