🎶I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
And I've been waiting for this moment, for all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off that grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies🎶
"I dont wanna be like 'As Confusius say' but..."😉
Hello Alex, are you challenging“Beerdy” to a “beard” contest?..lol!

@@TheKungFuGenius Fair play 🤣🤣 I'm a fellow "Brit" and I'm sorry Mikey, but I love it when you and Dre tease him about Phil Collins
Another great episode! Many thanks :)
Our pleasure!
Thanks for recommending Wrath Of The Dragon: The Real Fights of Bruce Lee. I read it in one sitting and really enjoyed it!
It baffles me that some people think the goal of Chi Sau is to stick to arms or trap the opponent's arm. Consequently, many individuals end up chasing hands and falling for feints and uncommitted attacks during sparring. It's ironic that schools exclusively focused on Chi Sau often produce students who use too many movements before actually executing a single strike.
In my opinion, Chi Sau is an exercise that develops a specific skill, which comes into play when your initial attacks fail to find their mark due to obstructions, for example. I strongly believe this skill can also be learned through other means aside from Chi Sau.
Below is a link to an old Chi Sau video in which the focus is on immediate striking or clearing the path to strike within one or two motions. It sure does not look very fancy or perfect, but that is not the point:

📽It’s a BONGO BLOWOUT FIESTA. 🍷a level 5 Conundrum in the foyer. A smoking gaff in the portico situation.” ☕️😂can’t wait. ☮️💯dude, have you noticed the views are waining here on RUclips? Everybody is saying it. That MEXICAN MARTIAL ARTS guy. Me and a few other creators were talking about it this week. People have noticed a drop. Ever since SNIPER WOLF saga began. Idk. Weird. 😇🤘🏼
I don't agree with that. I believe a warrior is someone who deals with real life & Death problems Even when it comes to health issue there's people out there who can't understand that at all, but when you have a health condition that can kill you & you're fighting to stay alive that to me is a warrior call them a make a wish kids, they live there whole life in and out of a hospital at a young age. Sometimes even as young adults! I love what you have to say & gangster face life and death over street wars and gun battles. Is that a warrior A cop killing an unarmed person is a coward to me, unless he's in a gun fight to save his life. I don't know if I should say this, but I still love you Sifu Alex you have a great show and we're both martial artist!
Yet another cracking episode!
I dont get all the Phil collins /U2 hatrid From Mickey D.Ive no Desire to join in.I really haven't got the 2 Hearts(sorry).
Haha are they believing in just one mind?
I’ve watched every single episode and never agreed with anything more than Mikey’s opinion of Phil Collins 😂
I just showed him this comment and his reaction was to say “my man!”
Dan Inosanto said in one of his books on JKD ( that I read back in the 1980's ) that Bruce had incouraged him to pursue his cultural roots via FMA and integrate it into his JKD. It's very believable based on what we know about Bruce's philosophy that he would have wanted his students to follow their own Dao (Tao).
Yes, but then there’s his comments in the secretly recorded Dan Lee conversation…
@@TheKungFuGenius Taky Kimura Learnt More Wing Chun Material Than Dan Inosanto From Sijo Bruce Lee Because Bruse. Wasn't really doing a lot of Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Savate Yet/ At That Time Until More 1966-1971 Era. Bruce Lee Was Experimenting With Boxing & Many Other Wonderful Martial Arts, But In Bruce's Early Stages It Was More Wing Chun Modified Techniques With Taky Kimura, James DeMile, Jesse Glover & Leroy Garcia, Were The Seattle Period (1959-1963). Later Than In L.A. They Did More (JKD) Jeet Kune Do Stuff & His Student's Were Guys Like Richard Bustillo, Bob Bremer, Ted Wong, Jerry Poteet, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, James Coburn & Herb Jackson. They Did More Of The Kickboxing & Trapping Hands With A Little Wrestling, And Takedowns! Sorry My Weakest Information Is The Oakland Era Which Was From 1964-1966 I Know He Met Dan Inosanto During That Period In His Martial Arts Period & Dan Inosanto Stayed By His Side Until 1973 Up Till His Death They Were Also. Close Friends!
@@TheKungFuGenius I can not recall any comments on FMA, the subject was about feedback on kicking the heavy bag and those remarks were quite ambigous to me in terms of what he was precisely saying.
I’m pretty good friends with JERRY POTEETS JKD. And from what I gather, they’re one of the only schools that’s teaching real actual BRUCE LEE MATERIAL. Of course DAN INOSANTO has his version. But they are complimentary. Meaning, we welcome everybody. So as to not make JKD scarce. Dan did introduce Bruce to KALI, but him using it was very little. A couple destructions maybe. Not much from KALI in JKD. Some of the hand entries are. KALI most likely comes from WING CHUN anyways. A long time ago, some #kungfu masters met in Malaysia, they shared #wingchunkungfu with the Philippinos. 😉☕️💯
Can't Wait To See This! I really do enjoy you video's Alex! You are one of the few good shows on martial arts and Bruce Lee things.

THAT would not Work against me. I "DRAW" my opponent IN, with
Subtle movements-----And, I keep my Distance! I have fairly long arms
and Legs.....a good REACH.
Well, actually-----That was a "Few years" ago. I don't engage in much
Sparring these days; Just enough to keep me Sharp!
Thanks, but without giving too much away, I’m not really a believer in this tactic either, and basically tear it apart for most of the episode. But it’s always based on context. The assumption is always “we are out in the open”, but things change if you were backed up on the wall getting picked apart with shots. If you’re not just covering up, you may in fact be forced to clinch or stick. Context is always king.
Amusingly enough, I suspected that quote might be related to how any strike or grapple motion would eventually have to make contact with you in order to be performed. ( unless they are using a firearm. )
So essentially, I have to eventually make contact (or stick) for a jab to hit or for a double leg takedown to work.
Then again, this is just my interpretation of what the quote might have referred to without its original context. But it is fun to speculate on what might have caused the quote to be created.
Well it’s a supposed Wing Chun saying so I wouldn’t bet on the context being related to double leg takedowns
Really looking forward to this one.
10 minutes. 🙏☺️

I love half German and half English comments because it makes me feel like I’m in a special club of people who can understand that 🤣
