Wes revealed that he played most of his career, due to an injury, on one good leg. Btw he had won the KY state titles in the shot and discus, and directed the relevant power and skills toward developing the greatest outlet pass in history. It was especially spectacular Wes' rookie and MVP year when he had high-flying Gus Johnson and Earl the Pearl Monroe on the receiving end. The Bullets idiotically traded Earl to the Knicks the next year...sigh....

@@moharikram1687 Thank you! I forgot they went 1-2! Even though I read that the Big E insisted on playing the center position in favor of Wes, despite Unseld's decreased mobility due to injury. Unseld decided not to fight Hayes' ego. and agreed to play forward, where his rebounding effectiveness would likely go down. He ended up with the title and the Finals MVP.

As a cavs fan.... I really don't know why we got rid of Kevin Love DURING the season... I think he really coulda turned the series around with his leadership. Always wish him well.
Cavs got rid of him because he basically lost his spot in the rotation and the team are more oriented with their younger players so he was free to leave. But hey, at least he has a place now in that frontcourt with Adebayo and Jimmy

So letting him go in the off-season might've made sense but before the playoffs idk didn't make much sense to me.
