Just like the Aztecs/Mexicas. For those who don't know, chocolate is of Mexican origin. Chocolate derives from Nahuatl (language of the Aztecs/Mexicas) xocoatl: xoco (bitter) and atl (water)
¡Hola!
Chocolate isn’t good for you but if you wanted to you can go to a grocery store and buy some chocolate. This has to be a joke how long it takes, it’s not worth it
This was my first time making chocolate, before I bought a chocolate/dosa grinder, so I had to grind it by hand! It still turned out delicious but it wasn’t perfectly silky smooth. See my tagged video if you want to see me making it with a chocolate grinder (it has to grind for 2 days!!!). Anyways let me know if you guys have any questions about the process!♥️😙
Yesss I actually ended up buying a premier wonder grinder from India after this!! And then I made chocolate again and used the grinder, it came out is good I posted a video about it if u want to see! And I LOVE the grinder it’s such a cool machine

My only regret is that when I lived in Ivory Coast in West Africa and they’re one of the largest producers of cacao beans; it was available at fruit markets at dirt cheap prices but I never even tried one :(
Y'know, I get the distinct impression that going to the store and just buying some chocolate is easier, quicker, cheaper, and more satisfying in the long run.
I'm from Brazil, my family has land where cocoa is planted, we don't produce chocolate, we only sell the bean (which is actually quite cheap). Before anyone thinks, it's not a cocoa leaf, it's Banana leaf.
That looks delicious! A tip for the leftover shells after fermentation: They actually make really good tea if you blend them until they are powder, and boil them with water (add raw sugar if you’d like) Hope this helped!
Ahhhhh this is a good question and I would say all the popular ones don’t taste very similar. You need to find an “artisan” or “small batch” chocolate to get a similar taste! Many grocery stores or health food stores sell these
So good! The flavor has a lot of depth and it’s not bitter because of the type of cocoa beans that I used. It’s def not worth it to make often because of how long it takes but it’s worth it to try at least once in your life!
