I wish that white men would realise that it’s always them who complain about people being too sensitive these days. I get that the example with wife was extreme but I think it’s ignorant to not see that most people are complaining about real issues. He seems like a lovely man but it’s just disappointing when this story about one person being mad for no reason then represents a whole phenomenon, where most people are rightfully more sensitive than before.
I think you’re right that a balance in the middle of both sides of sensitivity is the most helpful place to be, I believe that social media more than anything has led to an increase in both sensitivity and vulnerability particularly among young people. Thanks for your comment.
